I'd rather have Gene Wilder.

A gem of illogical logic!
-
If they are a genuinely strategic outfit they won't give it a second thought once in process.

I’d go for Benitez on a two / three year deal to bring Selles on, like Don Corleone handing over to Michael.
-
For me it's Eric Black. Safe pair of hands.

Dogshit Southampton against a team that can’t score!
-
I’m going to go for unbridled optimism today, 2-0 the Saints, Hassenhutl reprieve for a bit. I can’t stand Everton.

A fresh start. Never say never...

Well remembered, I was actually at that Espanyol game so his friendly brace must have faded from memory. Ralph would have coached that out of him in pre-season.
-
Quite possibly, Uwe Rösler, if you count East Germany. Seem to remember he was prolific for us.

I lost interest in international football about twenty years ago, so would fucking love this

He's near (post) sighted! -
Slow news day so just spoken to a mate who is head of maintenance for Ronald Koeman's golf buggy. Got him to ask Ron if he was going to come back to Saints, and he replied that he now considers himself too big for us, also some incoherent mutterings about asshats and dugouts. Is anyone here on first names terms with Nigel Adkins' optician?

Fucks sake! That’s ruined my evening.

Dragan’s man has negotiated Eastleigh airport on the flight from Geneva and has picked up the package from lost property at Parkway. He will text the word ‘Viennetta’ when the job is complete…
-
Has anyone seen Ralph walking around Staplewood Campus carrying a cardboard box and flanked by security guards yet?
-
As every Saints supporter knows it's the taking part that's important, not the winning.
-
Moribund tripe!
-
Hartleys or Robertsons?
-
Old fashioned centre half, not much finesse but fully committed. Whenever we played Bellmoor who had Benali as a forward - in the pocket.
-
Vice Captain should be Neil Shipperley.

Peach was a great player way above average and Saints were lucky to keep hold of him late 70s at his peak, think Chelsea and Man Utd made enquiries. Statham too was earmarked as one of the best young players in England when at WBA, also Jimmy Case rated Statham as the best left back he played with during his entire career (MLT the only other Saints player in that 11. Thus, Simon Charlton is indeed the natural choice at LB for that defence. If someone does the most dogshit Saints side, Lee Todd is a shoe-in.

Loved Jordan as a player at Leeds and Man U, but when he joined us from Milan he must have been 32/33 and past the peak, lots of niggly injuries. Regardless, great player to watch and incredible target man, fearless and ruthless. Favourite match was a freezing cold Upton Park in December 1984 - Saints in Rank Xerox with red socks, cracking combo. WHU had beaten us 3-2 at the Dell earlier in the season and we did the reverse to them, own goal and Danny Wallace in response to a brace from Cottee - who was a bit of a tosser. Joe really going for it , putting himself about and drawing loads of stick from the WH fans, scores the winner leaps up on the cage where the Saints fans are in shear delight shouting 'get tae fuck, get tae fuck' - happy days, more innocent times

If I were Dragan I'd offer Danny Cowley this role, £2k a week, villa with a pool and free kebabs at Abrakebabra in Göztepe's equivalent of Bedford Place.

Girona is a perfectly sized and placed club for a Sports Republic takeover 🇪🇸🙂
