Thank fuck they didn't! Keane is the 'people's choice'
-
If we are including Northern Ireland Pat Jennings might just shade it, similar with Robbie Keane and George Best.

That looks a peach of a stadium, 41k capacity.

Playing against some very good attacking players here, including Tadic, and he's exceptional. If Forster or McCarthy was in goal here it would have been 5-0. This lad is coming in as the new number 1 for sure -

I could, but only if AFC Portsmouth is on their hit list. Loyalty for life if they buy that debacle and turn it into a perpetual fluffer club for Saints
-
This for me too. Boruc had a potential for lunacy, but on his day a very solid all round keeper.

I am beginning to miss the halcyon days of Under Armour...

Yes, I agree, Bob hope probably. But Ankersen, a fellow Dane, will have been instrumental in setting up the deal that got him from Inter Milan to Brentford, that's positive, so we can have some hope that this is the elusive 'blend' favoured by the new board. For those of us fortunate to see what genuine class / experience plus raw potential / willingness to learn provided at peak during the McMenemy era the chance of seeing it again tends to cloud better judgement. I recently watched a brilliant interview with David Bailey and he was accused of 'throwing his weight around' over the years in terms of putting up and coming superstars in their place, without blinking he said 'yes, of course, but to be able to do that you have to have some weight to throw in the first place...' I really hope this summer we have some heavyweights joining along with the usual prospects.

Exactly what we need to commence the new no holds barred era. I really wouldn't be surprised if we are in for him.

With inflation Guido Carillo is clearly their man!
-
He could be our new Stuart Taylor, it might well be that he's being lined up for the kit launch video as very photogenic #kariusimperious #noholdsbarred

Liverpool are extra extra special as we know, but I think at last count Klippity had spent something approaching £600m since 2016, plus close on £118m in agents fees putting them second behind Dortmund in world football during that period. They seem to do good transfer business but it involves a lot of sharp practice and sweetening and compared to a provincial club like Saints the numbers are eye-watering and we can't hope to compete - you'd think more football 'journalists' would highlight these growing disparities.

Stunning and brave!

Christ, there are some flashbacks there. Kevin Miller replaced Paul Smith who replaced Antti Niemi, so it shows how far the keeper rot goes back. I'd have David 'One Trick' Lee in there, another diminutive northern donkey.
-
When I saw the header 'Lee Todd' I immediately assumed that he'd done a Shipperley. That probably summarises my perception from memory.

Looking at the slap Sofia will likely turn out to be Bohuslav, an unemployed panel beater from Odesa. Tony should have checked out the hands.

Saints finish season with £110m+ 'prize money'

Mrs Dragan’s got her eye on a gold plated bathtub and a faux faberge cocktail shaker - that’ll make a dent in that! -
My money is on Ross Kemp.

This image is what led to the operational decision to use pepper spray and teargas.

I think we can all agree that football won, plus an honourable mention to the gendarmerie.
-
My money is on a Johnny Depp Consortium, he’s been intently watching the situation in East Anglia over the past few months.

It clearly means a great deal to Liverpool fans, who are simply the bestest, so hopefully lots of footage of them grizzling and pissing their pants when Real Madrid convincingly beat them. I’ll be lighting a candle in solidarity.

Rumour is that Jim Davidson is doing it from his luxury yacht in Ocean Village, keep the positive momentum going.

I wonder if this move has actually been done strategically to put a bit of pressure on RH to see if he will resign or take a lesser pay off then resign to save face / salvage reputation. Give it a few weeks, as fans we will likely have a better idea if the new coaches appear quickly (as if they've been lined up for months...).
