Thing is, on the basis of everyone has their price, you could see KWP, Tella, Sulemana, ABK, Alcaraz, and Adams (6 players) all attracting testing bids in the next fortnight. Plus, of the padding, Bree, Perraud, Lyanco, Aribo, Djenepo, Onuachu (6 players) all possibles once we get to the business end and usual scramble. Won't be all of course, but that lot effectively cuts squad in half, and the hyperbole around unprecedented will be justified. I thought we'd get three in this week based on the jungle drums but none have materialised. It is going to be an interesting couple of weeks.

This, the fanbase could see there would be high turnover but the revolving door has been set to exit so far. Reasonable to think we'd have brought a few in by now.

In my opinion KWP, Tella and in particular Alcaraz are the ones to watch, as realistically all three are realistic keepers if a promotion bounceback is being masterminded.

That's pretty much my view. I think Martin has different targets, or been talked into having different targets.

Poundstretcher and Persil would be hard pressed to shift some of the ingrained shite. I like the cut of Wilcox's jib and what I've heard about Mowbray's air miles, but only half of the job accomplished thus far. This was always going to be a challenging window but it has to close with us strengthened right through the spine to be competitive and avoiding another January debacle. I'm keeping the faith for now.

Lord D called this the other day in the aftermath of the fans forum when Wilcox was attracting universal praise, the real test for our new look management group is going to be targeting and attracting incoming players of the right calibre. We will find out shortly.
