  1. Must be using the same server as this site
  2. 1936: DONE DEAL James Beattie has passed a medical, agreed personal terms and therefore completed his loan move from Rangers to Blackpool until the end of the season.
  3. We're paying multi million pounds for a MARQUEE?????? No wonder there's no money for players
  4. One of the reasons why there is a concerted effort to recruit female officials is because there aren't enough males prepared to apply / train. And were the cameras 'hidden' or was it just a case of 'testing, testing, 1 2 3'?
  5. I posted this on our transfer fred on the main bored but it's relevant on this fred too I think: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1351962/LMA-chief-Richard-Bevan-claims-January-transfer-window-scrapped.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
  6. Interesting article on the transfer window, even though it's in the Daily Heil http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1351962/LMA-chief-Richard-Bevan-claims-January-transfer-window-scrapped.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
  7. Aah I see I was actually responding to your suggestion that he was a 'failure' by pointing out that he's done very well financially from being a failure. I don't see that I said he is 'happy solely on wealth' - I just said that he could console his 'failure' with his earnings. I hardly see how that makes me a Tory FFS.
  8. Interesting take on the subject: Aside from the flabbergasting hypocrisy of Sky Sports dismissing a man for sexism when its own Saturday morning Soccer AM lad-fest regularly includes a sub-Nuts item in which a young "Soccerette" writhes onscreen for the delight of a baying mob perpetually on the brink of a w a n k, the most sinister aspect of the story is that Gray's and Keys' original comments were made off-air. Cavemen they may be, but they were advanced enough to know what was suitable for broadcast and what wasn't. Ultimately, they were tarred and feathered for holding a private conversation. And that's ominous. From: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2011/jan/31/charlie-brooker-paranoid-about-snoops
  9. How, exactly, do you arrive at that conclusion?
  10. No - much, much better than Henman.
  11. Ah well, he can console himself with the £12m odd he's earned over the past 7 years.
  12. Is this an euphemism?
  13. I'm not disagreeing with anything you've posted above, but I seem to recall that an increasing number of British (or, more probably, English) students are applying to European Universities because it's cheaper. I'm sure some of the Dutch universities were getting a large number of applicants. (oh how I miss that Gallic shrug smiley)
  14. I really do think it's a mind thing with him. But he's still, by far, the best British player in the modern era. Not our day in Australia, today
  15. Yeah, as a tactical ploy he does need to address his body language. He wears his heart on his sleeve, they say. Still, he's just broken Djokovic's serve.
  16. I thought at one point he was down and out v Ferrer (sp?). Can't see any fat ladies ATM but he'll need to raise his game significantly.
  17. Bloody male match officials
  18. Guess who's coming on
  19. Giggs and Nani on
  20. Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
  21. Taters saying we don't look out of place
  22. Our local Red Cross asks for a token payment (£6 IIRC). Fair enough, because I would hope they'd clean them after each use.
  23. Your local Red Cross should be able to help. I used to get one from them when my mum came to stay with me.
