I have only bought one piece of Saints merchandise in about the last 8 years and that was a pair of shorts to lounge around in on holiday last summer. Looks like I'm going to have to embrace the scarfer lifestyle... Forget doing Rochdale, Hull, Hartlepool away mid week - just pop down the megastore on your lunch break and treat yourself to a keyring. I really hope they don't do something like this.

I was at Schalke's ground last week and the credits thing really didn't seem to work, there was a massive queue of people wanting to charge their cards up, then there was another massive queue to get your bratwurst and beer. The queue for food and beer wasn't moving that quickly either. The only way I would want it is if there was an online account where you can top up online and have a list of all transactions made. Though it's more hassle than it's worth, just stick to good ol' fashioned sterling.

Rangers do something similar. Members get given a swipe card and it's activated when they purchase a 'ticket' for that game and they just scan in as a ST holder would.

Didn't you read a post further up the thread? A few Saints fans (who didn't have the full replica kit on so not real fans) terrorised the whole of Waterloo with their singing. People were running for their lives, children abandoned by their parents just crying uncontrollably, the elderly were fainting, three people suffered heart-attacks due to the panic caused. It must've resembled a scene out of WWII.

Oh the irony of Fat Sam banging on about Premiership quality. He got sacked from a couple of Premiership clubs for not being good enough, he's now managing in the NPC as he's not Premiership quality.
