Download an app called CineX Player. Once you've done that, connect the iPad to iTunes. Click the iPad on the left hand side once it's connected and it will bring up the iPad menu within your iTunes. Then click on the apps tab and scroll down to CineX Player app, click on that, click on add files and then you can browse your hard drive and upload away.
