I know there’s a guideline for those who qualify but we don’t! I just think it’s a ridiculous rule no matter the team, we have been watching striped backs for decades, now somebody that probably had nothing to do that day decides we all have to have plain backs, we could see the numbers perfectly fine years ago, now somehow it’s too difficult? Absolutely ridiculous, it ruins a kit in my opinion. At least for another year I save on having to buy one.

It’s ok, clean, simple, just a shame it’s a plain back, I just don’t get that. There’s no need, a black number would have looked great on a striped back. I won’t get one because of that. Maybe next year.

Just flicked through a few striped kits that have been released, Hull, Stoke , WBA all decent , my fav is Huddersfield,that in red wd be lush I await with dread what our commercial team have in store for us 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yep if it’s a white back then we are back to a similar unpopular shirt as we had the season before last! I like it from the front, the kit from our promotion to the prem in 2012 will do then, I have one somewhere.

Was going to say the same, thinner red stripes with the even thinner candy stripes next to it, we should have made that years ago, nobody has really had that, it screams saints to me.

And it’s made by Hummel ….. how ironic!! and we couldn’t find a striped shirt, striped back aswell…. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Great time to be a saints fan, what a cracking weekend, saw so many shirts from the past at Wembley, everyone digging one out from the bottom drawer, one of my favourites I saw was one I had back in the day , must be 1998 or thereabouts, nice and simple broad red and white stripes, Sanderson sponsors, let’s hope the new kit is similar but let’s hope it goes on sale sooner rather than later while there’s a buzz about us as more people will buy a shirt whilst things are going well, we have new fanzones being created, away fans being moved, safe standing, premiership footy , hopefully a few quid to improve the squad and happy saints fans, there’s a great energy so let’s kp it going through the summer, let’s get a decent kit on sale and people will wear it with pride through the summer. Next stop for us sport minded people is Hampshire for the cricket in another fantastic stadium , we are lucky in these parts, a lovely few weeks to relax and look forward to next season with SFC. Good times!!!

Yeah a lot of the boring bastards even go on forums reading about the kit and replying to people that actually have a bit of pride in the history of the club! I just think it’s pretty simple for both teams to wear pretty much HOME colours. As you say you don’t a toss so I will leave it there. Although I am boring for caring I have better things to do now. come on you reds …. See what I did there.

It’s ridiculous, common sense goes out the window, we have black socks ffs just use them! The whole of our end will be red and white yet we don’t do the same, it’s marketing, just look at the kit AFCB had v Chelsea, unbelievable, was blue! it shouldn’t be a case of trying to flog more kits as we are having new soon anyhow, I really would love to be in charge of kits selection at our club, we get it badly wrong every season but this is a nonsense , use our third away socks!!!

Come on saints, last push now, we have picked up 3 points in the last 2 x so make that 3 games and we are within striking distance, the top 3 clubs are all starting to wobble and we are closing in, not been pretty but we have managed to be the form team in respect of results, you must be up for it tonight , we have a chance especially playing two of the top 3 still, this is a huge huge match , anything less than a win and I think it’s gonna be too much with the games running out. We Simply have to win and then Saturday that’s winnable aswell, massive week. come on lads.

Well done to the team tonight, there’s passing it around aimlessly and getting nowhere as we saw many times last year but what saints did throughout was work the opposition and play with confidence, that injury time game management was outstanding, if that had been say Liverpool they would be talking about it non stop !! I thought the boys gelled well, it’s a shame we may lose a couple of players in the transfer window but we just looked good and nice to say after last year. A win at Sheffield Wednesday on a week night is fantastic no matter the division. If we can go through the next few games with more wins and be undefeated it gives us a nice base to work with. Well done

Playing around at the back and going across our own 6 yard box invites pressure and leads to goals against us…. Mmmm . Why don’t we ditch that , just a thought.

So you don’t notice that from any distance over 3 feet away the kit looks half pink, just like it did back in 1987 when I was watching the team play in it. I was at the ageas bowl watching Hampshire the other evening and a chap had the saints shirt on as he was on the field taking part in a catch the ball thing , the shirt was pink from distance so that’s my point! (He caught the the ball by the way and won a prize)
