  1. Having watched the trailer I think you will be in for more excitement at the cinema.
  2. Roy Keane was a pundit on this game. He must have been delighted to see Taylor, his future son-in-law, bang in another goal against his beloved Ireland. His response was to say that his relationship with Taylor isn't done and dusted and things can change very quickly in the Keane household! Priceless!
  3. Taylor is engaged to Roy Keane's daughter so banging another goal in against Keane's beloved Ireland is a great way of falling foul of your prospective father-in-law. 😀
  4. My lot reaching over the dishwasher to put dirty plates etc in the sink. Why?
  5. Videoing himself and asking others not to send it on. Yeah, right!
  6. According to the News, the BBC didn't offer him a new contract past the end of this season. They are looking into making changes to MOTD. I suppose they will make another mess like they did with A Question of Sport.
  7. Tranmere, I think.
  8. I don't think Wolves are the worst team in the league. They have had the toughest away games in their history at the start of this season so have a reason for being down in the basement. Gary O'Neil is a better manager than RM too. Look closer to home for the worst team. Sadly.
  9. Patronising git!
  10. Ramsdale aside, I would agree with you.
  11. They haven't had a look at the fixtures from here to Christmas then. We may have got 3 points last Saturday but the performance did nothing to convince me that we are a worthy Premier League team. We relied on Ramsdale playing out of his skin and a VAR decision to get those points. Wolves have had the toughest away games in their history. If anyone is going on an unbeaten run I put my money on Wolves. Taxi for RM!!!
  12. Aaron Ramsdale must rue the day he signed for us. He deserves so much better.
  13. I was thinking they would give him both Everton and Wolves before giving him the push. After Wolves we have a delightful run of Liverpool, Brighton, Chelsea, Villa and Spurs to bring us up to a Happy Christmas. If RM makes a muck of that will the Board be reluctant to sack him because we were playing against, with the exception of Brighton, teams in the top 6? Or will they bottle out because it's the festive season? Personally, I don't think luck or sentiment should come into it. If we lose to Wolves he needs to go.
  14. Wait until next week and then see............
  15. I will chip in for BBD's departure.
  16. Trust Jamie Kednapp to give Liverpool a cushy draw.
  17. Not that I needed any convincing but this match shows we are Championship standard. 3-2m at home to 19th placed Stoke. 🙄
  18. Nor can I. Depressing in October! Liverpool are followed by Brighton, Chelsea, Villa & Spurs. As usual I shall hope for the best and expect the worst. Rinse and repeat. 😒
  19. Everton and Wolves are games we must win to try to stop ourselves being cast adrift at the bottom of the League. A couple of wins would give us some hope before we meet Liverpool !!
  20. A bit worrying that the 4 teams just above us all picked up points this weekend.
  21. I remember the sacrifices and hardship my family endured during 5 years under German Occupation and it is the lasting legacy of those who fought for us that the freedom we have as a result lives on, whether you like it or not. This is a football forum, as you say, so then don't post offensive remarks and not expect comments.
  22. Thankfully there are far more people with respect for the sacrifices given by so many men, women and children that they accept poppies being sold and worn at this time of year. Personally, I find your description of the poppy Remembrance season offensive and pathetic. Perhaps it's time you grew up.
  23. Since I put Haarland in my Fantasy Football team he has been rubbish. I have been tempted to get rid of him but I might just wait. 🤔
  24. They have had some tough away games. The hardest start in Wolves history according to Gary O'Neil. He said they will keep on playing like they are as he feels it will all come good. I reckon Saturday 9th November may be the date he is looking for,
  25. I have to put Mike Dean above Anthony Taylor. I will never forget his refereeing 'skills' in the 9-0 defeat by Manchester United. Dean could not believe his luck when he was able to show Jankewitz a red card seconds into the game. I feel many refs would have taken a keen young lad playing his first big away game to one side and had a sharp word in his ear and a yellow card. But not Dean. Having a taste for it he went on to show Saints a second red later in the game by falling for Martial's dying duck routine. We should have had a penalty and Ayew shown a red card on Saturday because he had a hold on Tall Paul's shirt and clearly denied him a chance to score. When Fraser held on to Vardy in the same way but for a shorter time, out comes the red card and a point to the penalty spot. Just to rub salt in the wound, Ayew, who should not have been on the pitch scores the ruddy winner!!!
