Seems to like a tackle which will be novel in our defence. Two footed, appears to be quite quick, gets forward well and hits a good pass. What's not to like.

Hojbjerg wouldn't even get into the England squad!

While the England players are content to play the ball slowly sideways and backwards they will continue to produce these tepid displays. They need to get on the front foot from the first minute and play with a high tempo. Sadly Southgate seems incapable of drilling this into them or perhaps he is instructing them to play this drab cowardly style of football because he is more afraid of losing than attempting to get the team playing an expansive game. We have talented players but they are being let down by a manager who is far too conservative and will not change. If you show no bravery you do not deserve to do well in a tournament and will always underachieve.

Smacks of Croatia letting us blow ourselves out, getting stronger as the match goes on and Modric picking us to pieces as we tire.
-
Foden should have scored if we're being honest.
-
Get Walker off, he's been awful, move Trippier to his actual position and bring on Luke Shaw.
-
Might be wrong but I thought Danny Ings had the look of a man who knows that was his last game for us as he came off.
-
Good job we are as good as West Ham. Second half with the game already in their pocket they played it like a training match and still managed to score another goal.
-
Bednarek shares much of the blame but they wouldn't have scored if Jan had not just let Rice have a clear run at goal. Shows how shit both our main centre backs are.
-
The fuck is Jan doing there!
-
Take your head out of the sand. The shit running through this side is killing us.
-
Instead of all these weaklings we need to add some big powerful athletes who can get around the pitch and get at the opposition. Why is our side mainly made up of weeds?
-
West Ham 2 nil up and yet to break into a sweat. Imagine the carnage if Antonio wakes up and realises there are easy pickings to be had.
-
Time to take off the red and white tinted specs and admit to our massive shortcomings. We are woeful all over the pitch.
-
Absolute rubbish.
-
Ralph shaking his head as though this surprises him.
-
Sell Redmond or give him away.
-
Leeds controlled the game and dictated the pace. They got better as the match went on whereas we got worse - a good sign that you have been out thought and out played which is exactly what happened.
-
You could see that they were well in control and their play between the lines stretched us more and more as the game went on. They were comfortable and just waiting for the inevitable chances that their superiority would bring. Leeds always looked like winning that game if we're honest. We huffed and puffed but in the end they were deserved winners.
-
They're far better than us all over the pitch and proved it again today.
-
Ralph schooled again by Bielsa and learned absolutely nothing from the game at Elland Road.
-
Leeds are streets ahead of us in terms of quality.

Playing like it's a training session. Fortunately Fulham are dire but if we don't step up a few gears we might chuck away points here. You cannot play in such a half-hearted manner and expect to be handed victory on a plate. Minamino and Redmond have both been very poor.
-
McDougall and Boyer were a superb front two for us.

Thought we looked a much more compact side with Salisu on for Bednarek. His positional sense is so much better and he is far superior on the ball. Not sure how Minamino stayed on the pitch for 90 minutes. Overall a much improved performance and we shifted the ball around with good intent and purpose. Great move for Danny's second goal and Che's finish was very tidy and his assist for the 3rd goal was superb. Fraser did well and his penalty save was crucial as it would have been hard for us if Palace had gone in front again. Aside from Minamino I think everyone played well although Stevens had one of his customary brain farts but, in fairness, he did recover to make amends.
