Rangers the better side, but that was fucking terrible. No meaningful shot on target, was there? Nice to see the 'process' binned for the moment - but it will be back
-
Celtic looking slightly better with about 10+ mins to go
-
Celtic are f-ing shite
-
1-0 to Rangers They have been decent to be fair, and a clear shift from 'trusting the process' is it offside?
-
I get that, but the club does not particularly signs players based on the reaction of SaintsWeb. we'll probably get fellows to whack in crosses to players not particular suited for the aerial game
-
If we are 'getting into the mixer', and waiting till we have proper 'wingers', Moore would suit our system infinitely better than Armstrong and/or Downs....the ball certainly would not be coming back from the forward line as frequently as it does into a wide open midfield. Anyway, it is what it is
-
We saw it again yesterday, Watford would win the ball and immediately hit us down our LB and RB areas, meaning Stephen’s and THB were contact pulled left and right between them. With only Charles in front of them, a better side than Watford would have seen us off, more so when they chopped to a back 4 and dominated midfield (funny old thing)
-
Frisky, we simply have to solidify the midfield every game we are wide open there, meaning the back 3 are pulled all over the show
-
Kieffer Moore was there for the taking
-
THB has to cover left back due to the system, much like why Stephen’s steps into midfield, and we we make so many fouls as we are wide open all over midfield and defence
-
Fraser is our best winger/wide man, and Armstrong was brilliant doing it last time we were in this league.
-
I assume this is a wind up?

Cobbled together Very few days? Most of the squad selections he has made have been pretty consistent, with a notable absence of just Fernandes. He has a huge squad to choose from. Best winger, Kameldeen? If you think Sulemana was our best winger, then there is no hope for you (and he went very early in the window, with Onuachua, so never part of his set up). It is obvious on this thread (and others) that we have a good enough squad to understand the direction we are going. As Kraken and Benji subtly state, what is it he is trying to do, and why are we so bad in nearly all areas of the pitch. You all know my view on why I think that is.

2-2 No chance do we keep a clean sheet I would pick... Bazunu, Mads, THB, Stephens, Manning, Charles, Downes, Fellows, Azaz, Fraser, Archer. What I think we will likely see..... Bazunu, Mads, THB, Stephens, Wood, Manning, Charles, Azaz, Fraser, Fellows, Archer

AlexLaw76 replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
No, but he did take a needed Yellow for the team. -
Doubt it, we are not doing loans this summer (tm)

I am not the only one saying it, am I?

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
AlexLaw76 replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
The hotels thing will probably morph in countless stories of homeless people forced further to the back of an enormous local authority queue for a property that is given to an illegal/irregular immigrant. Even the PM said on record that there is plenty of spare housing to go around (he is clearly fucking clueless) -
The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

It will be the complete lack of immigration control that will be the primary factor that ends this Government, much like the last and why the nation voted for Brexit. Won't be long before "Labour Aides" leak to the media that sending the military into the channel is up for consideration despite having absolutely no intention of doing it...just to try and slow the shift to Reform -
He could have played Edwards sitting (with Charles), with Fraser wide....4231 There is every chance against Pompey we see 343, with Azaz in the middle with Charles and Fellows wide right.... For once I believe the international break has come at a good time. Unsure how many we will lose, but cant be the majority. A good chance to a reset and, as he likes, an honest and frank discussion on what is not right
-
He, and Stephens, are required to cover waaaay more ground than many others, particularly when it is not their natural game. when we pushed forward, THB was virtually a Left Back...THB a Left Back ffs
-
Doesn't mean I/we have to agree with it. Managers say shite all the time (we should know of all sets of fans). I mean, we have been largely shite this season, wide open all over the park and really do not look like scoring much from open play. Others keep saying it will change now we have 1 proper wide player in (sure, he could have used Fraser in this role), we shall see...
-
it was a worldy to be fair. right in the top corner
-
Yep, delivers a good presser....however, reality is, this shit formation
-
THB was pushed out to almost LB when attacking. That is not his strength ffs
