  1. Summary. Love being here, it is really good. Infra at the club is just great. It is very exciting Results have been frustrating, we should have a few more points now I knew it would be a tough start after a difficult situation last season But that is just human. Some players were beat so much last year and we have see what winning looks like Knew it would be a massive chunk of work, but I love it and I love football Wrexham win, and the way it happened, was unbelievable. My vision is to just win games. We have to outrun the opposition, and at a higher tempo We have pushed the players hard, and more so during the break. Some players have struggled That is the point, for this to work they have to break through the comfort zone and show commitment Only been here 2 and a bit months, and we will keep at it. It is fun, work in progress The transfer window as a whole was a massive challenge. Last season was still felt by all The changes, people in, people out, sometimes you dont know who is at training the next day. It was hard Very please the window is closed. We now have a squad that is highly competitive This is a massive club so there has to be competition, and all know the squad will win us things It was vital to bring in champ experience. This league is a different experience. Fin, Tom and Shea coming back I came in, heard about the players, but if players put in a shift, like Fraser, you will be a part of this. Matt Le Tiss, Franny, Beattie have been in and around the building. They told us how important this game is It helps our massage, this game has to mean something to us as a team. We need to pick up points now, have a go at it, be demanding. This game is a good opportunity to start We have to be at it, we have to be flying. I love it, this is what football is about. I will love it if we thrive off it You can't ignore the noise, even in Sainsburys people will ask you about this game. It is amplified over here I love these big game, but we have to get the basics right, be reasonable with the emotions, but we look forward to it Teams over here are much more athletic, better footballers in squads, and have to be consistent It is similar to the Ligue 1, physical, high tempo, so I am not phased by it. The number of teams and games is relentless over here, and we need to enjoy more wins I start work about 0730, chat with the team. Breakfast, team meetings. Players warm up etc then train Always something to do, videos to look at, training to prepare or review. Try to switch off at home Have moved into my house with the wife, this is a beautiful part of the world, and nice to be together We try to play tennis together, but always thinking about football. Nice the wife gets it. The wife loves it, she has been to every game so far, and that is just so nice. Ideally, we stay here for years Ultimately, to stay we have to win and win consistently.
  2. I am sure there are thousands upon thousands at these games, given the demand for parity in pay with Premier League players.
  3. LoL at Sheff United. What on earth Selles does at interviews must be the stuff of legends. He has not business in that job
  4. absolutely woeful attendances, with JCLs up for the big games on special days at a very small number of high profile clubs.
  5. Oh, he does
  6. What else?
  7. Will Still prezzer...... We have a good squad we have now, it is big A good injection of quality and good people as we could not have anyone just walking through the door lots of competition for places at a big club This will help us be hyper-competitive We will be demanding, this is a big club and we must use the full strength to win as many games as we can I did not want another striker. Damion is adapting, and we have proven good players for this league with him There are a lot of good players that with the quality we brought in will turn the xG into goals The club are not putting pressure on Damion, it is difficult to adapt. Just because we bought in this quality does not mean we will roll over most teams, we have to work, and work hard There has been a big turnover in personnel, which was needed We must put a shift in to make this work, and all know this. We must give Damion, Casper and Leo time to adapt Only Wellington inured, Damion still not back, should be tomorrow Everyone else has been here or drip fed back into training Their manager has done an incredibly good job. He is an interesting manager They are hyper-efficient, structured and organised. They will be aggressive, but they are a good team With the help of the club and the people around. The players understand what this games means Ex players have been here to paint the picture. The new comers know what this game means Let's be honest, this game means more to the city and supporters. But we have to win We have got to stop conceding these poor, rubbish goals, but this game the players are fully aware It is vital that the players remain focused, no use getting sent off, and they know that We have to play as we want to play. We want this game, this is what is all about. We are favourites for this, that is part of being at Southampton in this league being at a big club and dealing with it. Then cuts for the usual ridiculous watershed
  8. Forensic detail by the adults in the room
  9. Nope. Forgot to add the word Cunts to my original post - that's how it works, right? Ta
  10. Same thought process for George Floyd I guess.
  11. Far left are dangerous people
  12. 100% agree. Bellingham clearly thinks he carry’s the team and we should all be grateful.
  13. You have to admire Stamer’s public commitment to those who are obviously going to resign remember, this lot are the grown ups in the room.
  14. I bet their lot are watching ID on repeat, whilst whacking off in a blue and white sock
  15. England (again) have a chance to do well, if the media and manager lose the mindset that certain players HAVE to start, regardless. Does Saka HAVE to start ahead of an in-form Madueke? Does Bellingham HAVE to start? Does Stones, when fit, HAVE to start?
  16. The club brought it up recently didn't they? Something looking into etc? No use if we are not in the premier league, or sat bottom of it. So I assume this is well and truly parked right now.

    Russia

when was there in recent times, really? Been plain to see for decades.
  18. Seen that before, makes me chuckle. Daft, but brilliant.
  19. If we largely stick with 3 at the back 6th-9th If we shut up shop (433/4231) more and bully sides 1st
  20. if tonight is a peek at what sort of football we will try an play, I have to say it is better and more like 'English football'
  21. Fair point Yes, Anderson looks brilliant
  22. Madueke looks a threat, Anderson is good. Kane, obviously an elite finisher, but fucking hell, he is so slow and offers almost nothing in the build up
  23. Agree with that. he could have played here and been a standout, opposed to just training. He will probably get the Cup games, and will get a look in if Pope is injured, but a shame for him. I get it that his massive wages are off the books, etc
  24. That Lambert goal, I was right down at the Northam/Itchen corner was fucking carnage when it went in. We were just better for an hour, just ran out of gas and the quality players took over.
