Che Adams and Adam Armstrong are more proven at this level! But their performances in an attacking sense are generally dire. I wonder why that is

5000 deaths a day. That was said. Just looking through the covid thread, it is quite funny (for those who could see through the scare-tactic that was Omicron). Poster supporting 'No Jab, No Job'. others claiming they will probably always wear a mask (I highly doubt they still are today). Many people were fully paid up members of the Matt Hancock scare club.

And to be fair, the the part of the presser that was live was largely Adam Blackmore asking about his style and the pressure he is under (in a round about way) All he offered was that he some seem to want him to fail, he would be liked more if he was spanish as they have a different culture to football where as we are more about winning the 2nd ball in certain areas, and that we will be one of the highest scorers in the league at the end of the season. It is evident that he is well aware that of his marmite status, but cannot fathom why. Oh, and he would rather concede a goal trying to play his way, than do anything else.

Have a open mind about what is going on in Ukraine and you are labelled all sorts. Same with Covid, BLM etc

I think I got the gist of it. He was clear that he will not be changing and it is lazy assumptions from people (who seem to dislike him and his fashion sense) that we are not a threat going forward. It was the same at Swansea. He is adamant that he would be far more popular if he was spanish (was a bit tongue in cheek)

Martin Presser v Brum I have had plenty of attention and seems many desperate to see it not work Wayne will have plenty of attention now, he is a good guy. He has been asked to change the style, and as we have found, it is not a quick process We have a really good chance to make it a good week for us We have to take into account the travelling. We have tired bodies and mind, but have recovered well There will be changes and we have to bring more energy onto the pitch Interesting why people want me to fail. I feel it, and I appear to be really devisive This is a big club, especially at this level. The expectations is to get back to the prem very quickly Proud of the work, of the beliefs and there is no right or wrong way. I believe in this way I wish I could have been a part of what we are doing here, when I was a player British traditions seems to be to get the ball in certain areas and win the 2nd ball People probably deem our style as arrogant or naive. I cannot do this job if I have to compromise In other nations, it would be looked at very differently, as they have a different cultural context. That is interesting Does not worry or upset me, it is my job to convince people that it will be a success, I am really confident Interesting why many have made their mind up about me I would be disliked less if I was spanish It is a really lazy assumption we do not pass the ball forward, our stats are right up there we chose to make different passes to other teams and during games, the rhythm of the game needs to change We go 2-1 down and when they put 10 men behind the ball, it is very difficult. Simply have to stop putting ourselves in that situation There has to be an element of risk and freedom. We have found a way to utilise KwP, which I am sure will change as the season goes on It was a very lazy assumption at Swansea (about lack of goals), and it is lazy here. We will be one of the top scorers in the league come end of season We had a bad 4 games, now we are unbeaten in 5, which are the foundations, the rest will come we have to create more chances, but that will come The players understand that I would rather we carried on playing the way we do and concede, but to do something else we score a lot of late goals, so the mentality is there The experiences of many players here is a factor, but it is getting better I am really happy how the team is growing. I must be demanding I am really annoyed about Rotherham and how we went 2-1 down the other night But the players did well to remain unbeaten and have a chance to get another win tomorrow and we are in a good place.

Just for a bit of reflection https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/crestfallen-russell-martin-never-felt-26159409
-
it really is, they are all playing terribly
-
We really are 2022 Swansea with KwP, THB and Sully
-
we seem to rely on moments of individual quality to get a break through/get points...rather than patterns of play. Just constant sideways football is dire
-
Our style of play is killing our forwards
-
if you dropped Vardy and Iheanacho into saints, they would hardly score either
-
is it on facebook and/or youtube, do you know?
-
I think everyone should calm down. We have the next great British manager. Don't forget, it took Fergie 4 years to get it right... and so on
-
you mean a couple of penalties and one deflected off his face?
-
Classic Russell Martin More of this shit to come
-
Amazing fans think he is a good manager. Has has a job above his station, quite clearly
-
Just like to see us using our pretty slick passing but in a more forwards direction. The play and goal threat amongst our attackers is pretty poor, largely due to the style we have
-
Hopefully, some of the 5 changes against Preston will be reversed. Manning will be back, hopefully S.Armstrong will start, along with Sully and hopefully THB. But for god sake, the over-extended crab football has to be tailored a bit. The worrying part, Brum have lost a few games recently, so we know what that may mean!!!
-
The issue is largely down to our style...start stretching teams defensively, get a CF on a through ball, and we may be in business. No chance of that happening though
-
after a bright start, Stewart will be the same, unless we change it up
-
our style is largely the issue
-
pretty much. but unsure any manager would have made a difference, they are a right mess
-
Well...that game sums up Russell Martin, and why we will be lucky to make the playoffs. Patterns of play yet again mean we really are not much of a goal threat, no wonder our forward players look blunt. We constantly play so slowly that we are normally up against 9-10 behind the ball in some sort of set defensive shape. When was the last time we really stretched teams? The only difference for Martin, he has better players at his disposal compared to Swansea, but he is still a farking fraud of a manager, as we continue to have the (joint) worst defence in the league...

mate, you need a new screen
