Defensive alliance that likes to take the fight across the world
-
Which they mitigate against with sheer weight in numbers and playing the long(er) game. The numbers they have (in every aspect) dwarfs anything we could even contemplate (well, not the USA, but NATO is the USA in a real war). There is a reason NATO (the USA) did not stop this back in March with a bit of shock and awe, and we have given the Black Sea a total 'wide berth'......... Whilst we laugh at Russia apparently running low on munitions. It was war-gamed fairly recently and the UK (not NATO) would have likely run out of things that go bang (our entire conventional inventory) after about 8 days in a similar conflict. 8 friggin days!
-
I would not suggest the UK is weak, but we regularly took out "defenceless civilians" in the not too distant past. Hell, the USA used to take out defenceless civilians and anyone (including friendly forces) in the way.

Those who had the vaccine last year, also cured MonkeyPox

Ha. Yes they are!!! Probably true then!

Emma hayes? Come on man

I love the snobbery on this place. Howe is well in the pot on this front
-
Shit, hadn't noticed 🤣

Good old crooky

The form produced over what is nearing on a season's worth of games, is utterly appalling. I wish him all the best but the longer this goes on, the more his time here will be soured, sadly
-
When Ralph departs the club, will anyone make a wish, rattle a bucket and/or say a prayer for Adam Blackmore. I am certain not having Ralph around will hit him hard!
-
New Angus Gunn. shame
-
People here talk about SR like some deity. Not seen much clarity or sense from them in all honesy
-
Man city to get double figures Bazunu will be ruined and Ralph will get sacked
-
The fans that are being alienated are probably the sort who would be as dedicated in the championship next season, but for this
-
totally agree. Given the hilariously over the top introduction by Adam for Ralph at the fans forum, it is hardly a surprise. Genuine question, has Adam ever done a pice like that questioning Ralph and his utterly bizarre tactical decisions? IF SR are moving the goalposts and taking more control, I do not blame them. Those running the club day-to-day appear to be at the end of their cycle.

Then we could have ended this the moment it started, if there was no real danger of this escalating to something very bad.

My response...not let it get there. If Russia could be stopped, they would have been. I have said this from the very start. As it stands, Ukraine has had more money and resources thrown at it since February than nearly all 1st world nations have at the disposal in a year of defence spending. Yet here we are with large swathes of the their country now annexed (legally or not). It is amazing to believe that Russia would just sit back and watch their conventional forces targeted across the world without biting back.
-
And Russia wont retaliate if their entire armed forces came under attack? I am sure we would...the US would destroy anyone who tried that on with any force necessary...

would you be happy to sacrifice Southampton to obliterate Murmansk? Do you think the Americans would be happy to sacrifice New York to save Kyiv? We all know the answers.
