not exactly the same. We did not want to pay Swansea what THEY thought they were owed. Instead, we just sat it out. Has that been resolved anyway?
-
Bit rich us complaining considering our issues with Swansea over such a paltry amount, in comparison

I separated cardboard from my plastic waste. The sacrifices we make to stop the earth from boiling, eh.

May I ask, what have you done today to reduce your carbon footprint?

There you go again. The racist speaks....

How are you all dealing with global boiling today? Currently 17-ish degrees outside - DANGEROUS

Jann Valery type of sub-plot?

incentivising people by taxing them into poverty is not going to work. Already see a slight (and welcomed) shift today, by the PM.

there is that and our season starts earlier than some of the others...
-
we are years, probably decades from that. You know it, we all know it. In the meantime, we will be taxed to high-heaven for the privilege

He aint wrong though

how was he stitched? Was he not told of the length of the contract? Was he not told he signed a contract? Kane, despite Levy holding him down, signed a deal for x-length of time. If he genuinely thought Spurs would challenge Liverpool/City then he is pretty deluded to be fair
-
I would be bothered. He had a brilliant season last time out, in this very league, and he will cost us £0 in terms of transfer fee

Russell Martin on TalkSport this morning Great to come to a club and have a champion in the squad, hope to work with him for a long time (Tella) All players have been really good since I have been here, some players will leave and some will go straight back to the premier league Want the fans to 'strap in' and enjoy the ride, we will not lose the core belief and conviction of what we are doing here with regards to style I am fairly young a a manager and expect to be criticised with my style, being British. I am 37 years old and at a club like Southampton and am tasked with getting us back to the premier league. There will be some scary moments, but we have to be together Sure players will maximise their potential with me and we can be successful I would love a cut-off point where no more players can leave, but that is not reality. We will end up players a couple of games where players are starting for us, but will go We hope to keep a couple of who are attracting interest, but reality is some will go Players will lots of noise around them have been brilliant whilst here We will plan to potentially use every player on Friday, but we have to be adaptable and prepared to be without them There will be more than 10 teams who feel they have a very good chance of promotion, Boro, Norwich, WBA and others, alongside the 3 that went down The 3 teams that came up from League 1 had brilliant seasons and will be competitive

You say clings on to Kane, but Kane was happy to sign a contract for this period. He could have easily said no a few years ago, and won everything.
-
Yep. We could have pulled the plug anyway . Matters not now

It is hardly hindsight about Lavia’s injury when he was already injured before Romeu left.
-
More so as Lavia was injured and expected to be out for a while when he was sold. Ridiculous transfer, in a year of many ridiculous transfers and decisions by the club

are they? They are at least a week behind us in pre season, in a very crap league and drew with Norwich last week. I doubt Clasie would get into our side, and he is a starter for them.
-
As in if we want him or when we buy him?
