  1. You have to laugh
  2. To expand further...... If this trends continues, the continent of Europe will have to make a significant choice, or it will likely suffer dire consequences; 1. Do a deal with Russia 2. Accept depression - inducing demand destruction that brings demand back in line with supply. 3. Take on enormous masses of additional debt to mitigate the worst, and hope for the best (in a post covid world) My guess, Germany pipe up first for option 1.
  3. The BBCs take on who plays where regarding an announced start 11, is just weird.
  4. Surely we will be better than this game last season. They absolutely battered us and 6-0 was generous to Saints
  5. these teams have a terrible fixture schedule this season. That is why many are increasing the overall quality of their squads like they are
  6. Ben Brereton Diaz
  7. and people say we dont need new defenders.
  8. I said OUR own military, the UK. Given it has been criminally hollowed-out for 30 years. We are in a state where gender/race is the most important recruitment factor (with the RAF anyway). The Army is so small and the RN is scarily low in hulls (of which around 1/3 at best are operational at any one time). Obviously, it is a different question if you throw in NATO (what that really means is the USA)
  9. As I have said waaaay further up. The most corrupt country in Europe settling an historical fight with the 2nd most corrupt country in Europe (which is not part of NATO) - given our own history, both long and recent - is not worth getting knee-deep in like we are. So much so, which will severely impact millions of British citizens. Many, irreversibly. You can say we 'must stop Russia', but NATOs own borders do that, very far from here.
  10. Freezing to death this winter will be worth it, right? from the WSJ
  11. and not to forget, so far this season, we have let in 8 already
  12. Last season, Salisu got injured/suspended and for a little while, form dropped like a stone. Which is kind of what happens. Before Tino got injured, he was very average (and that is being kind), after a storming start to the season I will be amazed if ABK does not have similar patches, which again should be expected.
  13. Yes we do. We have been appalling at the back in recent times and no way will two very young defenders keep this up (let alone remain injury free) for the next 35+ games.
  14. All roads lead to Ben Brereton Diaz
  15. Tadic was excellent. However, never felt sure when he stepped for a penalty 😅
  16. I bet if you wandered over to the trump or boris threads, not a scent of this required concrete evidence would have been asked. My bet anyway
  17. Hitting your bank balance further, in just a little while. On the back of this, Germany are proposing the national veto is removed within the EU. I wonder why?
  18. He is not really a Centre Forward either. More of the role Adam Armstrong in playing now (wide forward in a 3).
  19. I guess we are working our way to the bottom half of our list........
  20. Told you
  21. They clearly have brilliant players all over the pitch. God knows what the score will be but they have not clicked yet this season. Could be 2-1 to saints as much as it could be 6-0 to them.
  22. Deadline day will never ever be the same!
  23. Thing is, I just cannot see them going down. They have a decent manager and have brought in some very good players...
  24. Just proves all sorts of cack is slung from both sides. Biden being a bit of a wrong'un, to Russian collusion.
