The SFC Nudge Unit checked in for the day, it seems. I suspect Monday will see more movement from the team.

I assume he is their 31 year old U21s coach?

Apologised? Those at the top knew since Jan but said nothing. There have been too much wrong at the BBC, which would have finished other broadcasters. Raising of standards should never be an ask, want or need, for an organisation like that.
-
Of only it was that simple, otherwise the PM would not be getting involved. this is the stage broadcaster, not GB News are the Guardian. Trump is clearly wanting to teach the Been a lesson, and given recent history, about time someone did

Ole, pretty sure the odds are shortening

The odds have been cut, so who knows 👀

Because it will remain incredibly embarrassing if drawn out for the self-proclaimed world's most trusted news outlet.

Looks like the orange man is going to 'take it' to the BBC. Horrible situation for the Beeb, but in many ways this sort of thing is a long time coming for Auntie.

Same for us in some cases... Artillery, Ships...given to Ukraine and have not been replaced (and probably will never be replaced).

Any new updates from the SFC nudge unit telling us how refreshed and determined everyone is, you know, with TE at the wheel? Has any of the local journos reminded us of the tactical changes he made with the brilliant wins against championship heavyweight QPR and Sheff Weds? Has Oriel been wheeled out to subtly tell us what it was like playing for Barcelona, to immediately shift to how impressed he is by TE?

May as well give the job to Lallana, or even Stephens and player-manager. why not, eh!

Nearly all managers have failed elsewhere and have been sacked.

ah right, where else would it come from? Dr Who? Antiques Road Show? Series 2 of Celebrity Traitors? Huw Edwards pension?

I think our definition of sizeable is very different.

Having the best jet is pointless if you dont have the weapons for them, or any credible infrastructure to maintain operations Having a T45 destroyer is pointless if the engines are/were knackered and unable to operate in warm water Having Ajax is all well and good, until it routinely puts soldiers in hospital during peacetime testing
-
May as well pack up the lot then?

No country other than maybe the USA would have done much better. We would have been done by the end of the first week.

The UK military is pretty weak, conventionally. So many capability, personnel and financial gaps.
-
Will be interesting to see who the other manager-less clubs are about to appoint.

Manage Southampton on Football Manager 2026

I have played the update. Less bugs, space bar works like it did previously. Game still very easy to turn off as the UI is still fucking terrible.
