only idiots would think that would be a good idea. Much like those demanding/hoping we kept Still until the end of the season, no matter what.

For me, Carrick, Robbins (little chance), and if he fancies (which I doubt) Ralph Gerrard maybe.

This is not your first time is it, I can tell 🤣

This was a long time coming. for me, it was the path set after watching us play against Wrexham. Sat deep, 5 at the back, wide open in midfield and defended for our lives (until Moore went off) - alarm bells, against fucking Wrexham. the certainty of it came against Pompey. That was pathetic, unacceptable and clear as day he had no idea what he was doing. LOL, signing Tom Fellows and playing him is some sort of shit hybrid wingback role (if he was lucky to play at all). Watching Azaz play from the right, or deep in midfield. And in his last game, just continue more of this bullshit. He was, sadly, waaaaaaay out of his depth, and was from day 1. As per, we had fans clapping along who wanted to keep him no matter what etc. Thankfully, they are wrong, and he has been rightly sacked. however, I have little faith in SR getting an adequate replacement. This squad wad comfortably good enough for top 6 from the start of the season. We should be good enough to mount a playoff challenge now. I fear that will not be realised as they will appoint some wanky fucktard as manager, or go back to Russell Martin.

Could not agree more. It was just very weird

When some of the world richest nations out-source their defence to a country thousands of miles away, bit rich to complain when the outcomes are not specifically as we would want. What are Europe doing to stop the genocide in Nigeria? What is the UK doing given our historical ties?
-
Maybe Europe should stop the genocide in…. Europe?

Totally agree. Players from the the team yesterday that have a fair amount of the experience we are apparently lacking... McCarthy, Mads, THB, Wood, Manning, Downes, Armstrong, Azaz Around the squad with obvious experience... Stephens, Fraser, Aribo, Stewart We loaned out.. Bree and Smallbone Players who may lack experience but have been about, and/or internationals.. Scienza, Charles, Bazunu, Wellington

It is an honorary rank. His medals (well, most of them) are his I suspect.

Russell Martin 'on STANDBY' to return - according to Alan Nixon That would be funny

Pretty much spot on. not hard to find plenty of fans suggesting Solak deserves some slack etc - fuck off

Top 3 Benefits to Saints from SR”s multi-club model…..? GO!

Arsenal are mine this year. However, keeping an eye out for Man United, they are slowly getting better. If I jump ship at the end of the season I can always say I was there when they were shite

Did you know you are more likely to get your hair cut by a lovely Middle Eastern teddy bear in Romey Marsh, than be stabbed on a train Makes you wonder……

Towels on the side of the pitch, long throws, big strikers and lobbing the ball forward is all the rage now. might as well go for the big Tony P for one last hurrah. Joking. Well semi joking as we don’t have the lump up front for it

I dont what was worse, those who had to sit in the ground at watch that, or those who watched the live feed with the screeching in the background Horrible day all round

Damion Downs - Official: Loaned to Hamburg

He did get an amazing assist against Wrexham. Assists like that are unteachable -
Someone has gone a bit mental on a train and started stabbing people.

ChatGPT suggested Rohl, O'Neill and Gerrard for me.

I tell you who will find it funny. Nathan Jones when we go to Charlton in a few weeks.
-
Not surprised given we are one of the big boys in this league, spent a fucking fortune and hired a hipster manager, then watching ti all go wrong

but we just do not play to his strength. Slow getting the ball forward, if we do not lump it up there. There was a free kick taken by our defenders in the 2nd half. It was lumped up to Armstrong...when he had a CB tight on him, and another attacking the ball. Even in the 2nd half when we were spending my time in their half, it was still lots of sideways passing which allowed them to set 2 lines of a 5 and a 4....No wonder we never look like scoring outside of a moment of individual brilliance or a defensive howler.

One half of the 2nd Tier podcast duo was not convinced at all by Still in the summer. It was not the half that posted a nice puff-piece video about him over the last week

Just like Bree is playing like an English Hakimi right now. Yet deemed not good enough for us.
