  1. Not according to yougov... Turnout by age group in the graph below shows that about 42% of those under 35 voted to remain (62% of approx 68% turnout) - that's not an overwhelming majority.... sauce
  2. So why did you claim "The vast majority of people under 45 voted remain in the first place"?
  3. Constructive dismissal is a tricky one to prove as you need to show you had no other choice but to leave. Again, you need to have two year's service before a claim can be made. Not only that, but if you, I mean Person A, has already found a new, better paying job, then there would be no financial loss to compensate anyway. Whilst it's been a shit situation, Person A needs to move on now, enjoy the new job and wealth increase and remember it's just business and not to take it personally. Congrats on the new job
  4. Lol. Where is the flaw? But you're right, pubs, restaurants, shops and residences have been flooded for many years. Guess what happens? People just get on with it, clean up, claim on their insurance, keep calm and carry on. Not sure you've really grasped how to 'point out a flaw'. All you've managed to do is back up what I said!
  5. Good on him. We need more entrepreneurs like him finding ways to continue trading with the EU. I'm assuming he'll be moving to the EU so he can access the money he'll be making over there - if not, the amount he spends on financial services / advice to move his dosh back home will probably outweigh the amount of tax revenue lost Win, win!
  6. So desperate to try and prove some convoluted point, you're bringing in floods! I can only imagine you think the floods are due to Brexit as well
  7. So no tariffs then?
  8. I'm astonished you've managed to grasp the principles. Well done you.
  9. Lol. Once again you've not bothered to read what I wrote and have made an assumption and gone with the 'thick as pig shit' standard line. I wrote that some businesses will adapt and overcome, some businesses will fail. I then stated that is the same that has gone on before - i.e some businesses thrive, some businesses fail. It's a cycle that has continued for millennia! From that, you've managed to grasp at some straws and make up some bullshit about me claiming that adding £180 of costs is the same as before. Nice one Walter Mitty, but your attempts at one upmanship are looking increasingly desperate.
  10. What tariffs have been imposed since Jan 1st 2021?
  11. Most businesses will adapt and overcome. Some will fail - that's no different to what has gone before.
  12. I think you've confused tariffs with customs charges. They are not the same thing.
  13. Do you honestly, hand on heart, believe that filling in a form costs in excess of £30 each and every time?
  14. I'm not sure why you're surprised by this. If you buy something from a US, Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian etc etc website you also have to pay customs charges.
  15. I thought that is what we were getting in exchange for unfettered access to our medicine cabinet...
  16. Will Joe be the one that rapes and pillages the NHS or is that not happening any more?
  17. £34.88 per form. That seems like a lot of money for a customs declaration. Any idea how he reached that conclusion - I imagine that once one form has been completed correctly, the rest will be largely 'copy & paste' won't they? I'm assuming he's costed each form to include courier delivery rather than an email?
  18. Not any more - it would appear that Sheaf Saint doesn't agree that his post was misleading
  19. To be fair, your original post wasn't really that clear... You've stated that your wife works in an hospital and is out on the front line which would make her a key worker, however, you didn't orignally state that you are also a key worker, merely that you wouldn't get anything done if your daughter was home. The assumption that I guess most of us made was that your wife is a key worker but that you aren't - until you clarified it later on....
  20. More or less stupid than putting London into tier 2 at the end of November?
  21. What's your best Rolf Harris paining?
  22. To be fair, they should probably be alright as a company. Granted they've lost 446 million customers, but they claim that is only 15% of their business, so should still leave them with 2.9 billion customers (the other 85%). That's a lot of cheese!
  23. Some professor on points West just stated it takes 2-3 weeks for the vaccine (all vaccines) to start to work. Even then you can still be infected, however, your illness will not be as severe if you have any symptoms at all.
  24. Still, at least it's just the fish that is seeing issues, probably not even worth worrying about, especially considering all the lectures we had before Xmas telling us just how small the UK fishing industry is and how little it contributes to our GDP. Seems like every thing else is working well???
