Looks like it! Will you now campaign against the result, now that you know it happened? -

Haven't you literally just posted something on the JC thread where there was a low turnout to try and prove your point? Zzzz -

Would that be the majority of the electorate that voted to keep the current system? -

He's also taking the figures from an election where PR is NOT an option and rather simplisticly applying the results. He's seemingly forgotten about the 'tactical' votes during this election and the effect they have had on the results. Results that are not going to be achieved if PR is used as the voting system. -

Would that be this Marcus Moore : Seems like we should all pay attention to the undoubtedly well informed man - that tours garden sheds as a theatrical performer and hasn't owned a TV for 25 years!!! Garden sheds FFS. -

It's a headline figure to be sure and absolutely eyewatering! But there is a little more to the article that seems to have been left out : Would that count as seperate incidents or just the same info being repeated ad-infinitum? Still, technically, there is nothing wrong with them publishing the info - nor would it be an issue for any political party as the BBC also states : Looks like Batman is right - they all tell porkies, but then, why not, when they are given carte blanche to do so? -

No way they are over staffed, not a single NHS establishment in Britain has enough staff (apparently!). Easier to explain it away as being 'under bedded' than 'over staffed' -

Not sure I understand this bit, surely on the day before the referendum, Boris was still playing around with his bus, hardly a ringing endorsement of the remain campaign.... -

You really are quite the dinlo! That is not even close to what I said and this is a discussion about HRH Prince Andrew, not Epstein! -

Sorry, I thought you said 'more evidence'. The photo was sold to the Mail on Sunday in 2011 for $160,000! I don't deny he met her, I'd even go so far as to say he smashed her back doors in. I'd also stand by my previous assertion that he did all this with both her knowledge and her consent. Nothing much more than bloke ****s bird story to be fair! -

Evidence? Are you sure? Are you confusing 'claims' with 'evidence'? -

Cool story bro'! You managed to squeeze in an anecdote about someone you spoke to which just happened to support your view, the NHS, food banks (your personal favourite) and child poverty! Bravo! -

It's odd isn't it? In 2011, Miss Roberts (as she was) sold her story to the Mail on Sunday for $160,000 dollars ( https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-50633640 ). In that story from the mail she stated : ( https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:MM0CSX7q8RYJ:https://www.businessinsider.com/girl-victim-of-jeffrey-epstein-prince-andrew-questioned-2011-6+&cd=17&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk ) She also settled out of court with Mr Epstein - she was one of 17 people to do this - so it makes you wonder what her motive is for dragging it all back up again, has the money run out? From the BBC article linked above she states : Odd that she didn't mention this in 2011. There is also a picture of her with Andrew, in it, she certainly doesn't look like someone who has been forced to do something that she hasn't consented to. Indeed, she states that it was her who asked for the picture to be taken - presumably as a momento of the occasion! All this happened when she was 17 and in the UK - there is no mention of any other country or what age she was when in those countries. Whilst it may be morally reprehensible for a Prince to go round smashing young girls back doors in, there is nothing illegal about doing it with a consenting girl over the age of 16. Nothing really to see here.... -

Apart from ceremonial duties with the navy, isn't his 'job' heading up a number of charities? Certainly seems like a creepy kind of person but do the charities benefit from him being there - if not, sack him (if that's possible from the Royal Family!) -

So, just so I understand your anecdote. HMRC have dealt with complex VAT cases, literally for ever. They have now decided to outsource some of their work realising that money can be saved when people work efficiently, but are starting with the more simple cases in order to build up the experience of the private company. Your mate, though, is sceptical that this private company, the employees of which have probably not gained the experience of HMRC where complex cases are concerned, may struggle to complete the work should it be given to them by HMRC. Might I suggest that when the time comes for them to take on the complex cases, they may just poach the staff from HMRC to increase their knowledge base?
