How about do that for the first 12 matches and save up for a half season ticket.....

Perhaps the club are putting six matches on sale nice and early for all those who couldn't afford a season ticket in one whack... This way it is pretty much equivalent to a payment plan isn't it? Buy six match tickets, and then spend the next two or three months saving up to buy the next six match tickets... Four payments later and you've bought 24 tickets. Sounds like a pretty good alternative to a payment plan to me, the only drawback being you're not guaranteed 'your' seat. However if you choose one that doesn't already have a season ticket holder sitting in it [and I guess there won't be once ST sales have finished], and you buy when the six matches are released, it really shouldn't be a problem....

No, no it wasn't For the entire season BEFORE we went into admin we cut to the bone - literally You may recall we employed a Dutch clown to run the team, why was that? That's right he was cheap like the budgie. We then got rid of all the high earners / half decent players that we could, and were left with 'the kids' - surely you remember them right? So, instead of spending more money getting in loan deals, we sold everything that was nailed down, even a train painting IIRC in an attempt to keep the ship afloat, which ultimately ended in our relegation You guys on the other hand did what to avoid admin? Oh yeah, that's right you spent some more money and stuck two fingers up to everyone.

No debt on the stadium because ML PAID FOR IT in FULL!!! - we went into admin with lots of debts, ML paid ALL OF THEM IN FULL! and we came out of admin with no debts. I think that sums up the difference between the type of person ML is compared to the many potless, penniless chancers that have run Pompey for the last 10 years.... If in the unlikely event that it does all go pear shaped in the next decade for us, then I will not blame you for coming back and gloating that you told us so, however, bearing in mind MLs business philosophy to date, I'm confident you won't get the chance....

I received an email - on our son's behalf - stating how to get a renewal, and what the cost were for every type of ticket. Sadly I received this after we had renewed his ticket, so deleted it

At around £20 per game that is £240,000 Times that by 23 games in a season and you get £5,520,000 which is quite a long way from your £500k. You're not an accountant at PFC by any chance are you?

So, one year on, and instead of getting a takeover that will make you the richest club in the world - check out some of Corpy's earlier posts! - you've managed to spunk all the money you've earnt / been given / laundered, and managed to almost double a £70m debt in the space of three months! If that's your idea of successful business management, then may I suggest you start your own business to give us some more belly laughs

He won't find anything. In fact quite the contrary, no doubt he will be commending the previous owners on their exemplary management. Fortunately, HMRC played another master stroke insisting that the company be liquidated as part of the CVA, as when this announcement is made by AA they will be legally entitled to pick the bones Sadly, nick, you appear to only have an eye for the short term, whereas HMRC have always been in the game for the long run to get their pound of flesh. Every month or so they seem to produce another ace out of the pack and give AA a few more inches of rope for his noose.
