  1. Still pretty sure being a taxi driver is your best bet if you want to drive all over Southampton visiting the houses of ****ed up Pikey's late at night...
  2. You will not be able to compete with the prices that Tesco, Morrisson etc can charge, so you may as well give up on the idea now Perhaps you would be better off becoming a taxi driver if you fancy driving round the area visiting lots of Pikey's houses....
  3. Didn't the judge at their last court hearing state that they reserve the right to validate [or not] the administration....
  4. We live in hope
  5. Funny you should ask, but extra housing is being put up in record time, benefits are being increased threefold, and the passport office is working round the clock to ensure these good folks get their leave to remain.
  6. Isn't that the same as having your cake and eating it?
  7. Hhhhmmmmm, not really. The Scottish S&R helicopter was sent up yesterday to carry out a rescue. When it came back down it's engine was full of volcano ash and needed stripping down. Any longer in the air and it's likely the engine would have failed. And that was flying at much less than 20,000 feet.
  8. I'm sure our resident Unionist protagonist can confirm this, but I was told today that if this continues for a week then BA are a dead cert for going bust. Also a number of other airlines will bite the bullet too. If it carries on for longer than a week, then the airline industry as a whole is likely to go pop  I guess that will make the current recession look like bonus day at the bank
  9. Anybody have any figures on how much CO2 this bad boy - the volcano, not TDD - is / has thrown up into the atmosphere? I wonder if it's more or less than is created by 'man' in a year??
  10. Isn't there still a caveat from the last High Court appearance whereby the court [iIRC] can challenge the legality of the administration if it deems any funny business is / has gone on? Pretty sure that will be the get out clause to ensure they don't 'get away with it'
  11. That is possibly the most stupid thing you've ever written VFTT! It's almost like saying that 'life is a great way of letting natural selection weed out the idiot gene', since everyone who is alive is gonna die too! Not entirely sure how you've reached your conclusion since smoking related diseases in general affect the more elderly. People who generally speaking have had a chance to have children, thus ensuring this 'idiot gene' is passed on
  12. I wonder who voted for Pompey... Was it the fake administrator or the new CEO?
  13. There's a four day match against Warwickshire that starts tomorrow - likely to be as boring as sitting in the hotel room, but they sell beer...
  14. ROTFPMSL Are you saying that you're such a bunch of retards that you can't even manage to protest properly?
  15. Ergo, they would have technically complied with the rules and regulations, and there would be nothing to 'get away with'.... However, I'm pretty sure a change in the rules and regulations will be forthcoming to prevent it happening again... Still not convinced that even with a CVA agreed, without substantial investment, they will be financially sound for a number of years, and thus not competitive anyway.
  16. Serious players, who have been looking to buy a football club for over a year now.... Hmmmmmm, can only mean one of two people, Mr Fialka or Mr Jackson
  17. Did everyone miss this little nugget earlier then??? So, are you saying Mr Fake Admin guy that the club has been insolvent since last May? Surely he couldn't possibly admit that with the UK laws around trading whilst knowingly insolvent?? Or is he trying to claim that the only reason the accounts weren't filed almost a year ago is because they went into administration little over a month ago? Whichever it is, it's another case of grasping at some straws isn't it? http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=769920&sec=england&cc=5739
  18. Thus increasing the debt attributable to the fake administrator
  19. I'm now rooting for a Pompey FA cup win What does the winner of the cup get, £1m isn't it? Since Storrie the wonder negotiator negotiated all the player's contracts, I'm willing to bet it'll cost them around £2.5m in FA cup winning bonuses again
  20. Why do those idiots always harp on about the size of the pitch at Wembley, and its 'vastness'? It is no bigger than most top class pitches, and is only 2 yards wider than Pikey Fratton dump!
  21. I'm not sure whether you're being deliberately thick or just a bit blinkered... They are TOAST! They have no money - we know this because Vantis provided a statement of affairs to the high court which stated they owed various people £70m!! - this has been confirmed and even made bigger by their 'mock' administrator and now stands at £100m! They have the worst fans in the world ™ who are deserting them in their 1000s thus reducing the amount of money coming in. They have an administrator who seems to think that the best way to reduce costs is to get rid of a few part timers, and appoint a new CEO - which technically is his job anyway! So, unless they get a really stupid person to buy them who has buckets full of money to **** against the wall [good luck with that!!], there is no way a CVA will be approved - they cannot legally offer 100% of the football creditors debt without offering the same to ALL the other unsecured creditors, including HMRC - so they will start in the Chumpionship next season on negative points. I'm not sure what your definition of 'toast' is, but that's enough for a start isn't it? Unless of course you'd only accept them going completely bust - which to be fair is still a REAL possibility
  22. Loving it doesn't get even close to how most of us feel Keep it coming though, because I for one would enjoy another 6 months or so of this, would be even funnier if the android did stay on to run you for a couple of seasons Oh, and whatever you do, don't get rid of Avram, comedy gold that fella! And if you could find a place for the Storrie teller that would be just marvelous!
  23. Agents fees are football related, so I guess they would be prioritised along with Portpins £14m. Therefore HMRC would amount to £18m of the remaining £60 = more than 25%
  24. If I were you I'd be trying to work out why these aliens came so close to you two guys, yet decided NOT to abduct you! After all, look at some of the hillbilly's and f&cktards that have been abducted from America, and they decided that you guys weren't good enough for them
  25. I believe that the 'universe' is a mighty big place - beyond my comprehension anyway! The chances of there being another planet like ours close to another sun [star] in such a way that the conditions are rife for 'life' - not just as we know it, but as we don't know it too - are therefore extremely high. Of course to be a 'believer' you would HAVE to be a non religious believer - where does it state in the bible that God created ANOTHER world!! So, do I believe something else is out there, yes I do, the chances of there not being anything else out there are pretty minuscule I'd bet. What I don't get is this whole abduction thing though. For another lifeform to reach our planet would require inter stellar travel - no mean feat in and of itself - but to make it worthwhile this travel must be pretty damn fast - faster than anything we can imagine for sure - which would require a seriously advanced intelligence / capabilities. Why then would such an advanced lifeform want to keep coming back and abducting humans? Surely once or twice would be enough for such an advanced intelligence to learn all it needed to from us......
