  1. So far, I'm pretty sure everyone has agreed that it is indeed sad - and emotive!! I think people differ on the way she is doing it! You think it is fine for her to parade her dying moments on TV, some of us don't. Which 'celeb' was it that broadcast the birth of their baby live on the internet, and what is your opinion on that? I stick to my opinion that Goody is the epitome of what is wrong with this country and it's ridiculous celebrity culture, and frankly these programs aren't doing a lot to change my opinion But I guess it really is a case of each to their own, and as Ponty said, whatever floats your boat...
  2. I'm sure they are! And I hope they succeed too!
  3. Why aren't people commenting on it? Are those other people less deserving than Goody and her family?
  4. Meanwhile somewhere else in the country / other countries / other planets, hundreds, if not thousands of other young mothers are dying leaving 2 kids. It's disgraceful, we should stop these deaths from happening : roll :
  5. No. I'm just pointing out Karen Matthews is also a human being with young children....
  6. Karen Matthews.....
  7. Justification for another program?
  8. She isn't raising awareness of kaaaancccaaaa though is she? She's raising awareness of the fact that she has kaancaaaa. I really wouldn't care less what she did or didn't do with her life, as long as every other bloody advert on the tellybox didn't have her ugly mug on it!!
  9. ...
  10. What a complete load of nonsense!! Where did she spend her formative years so that she was DENIED the opportunity to go to school?
  11. I also thought TDD was having a pop at the fact that her plight is plastered all over the TV, but hey, I guess Ponty sees it differently!
  12. FWIW I agree with you. I find [found, in the past tense before she became terminally ill, too], the women to be vile and a pretty damn good indicator of all that is wrong with this country! For her to get national TV coverage of her plight is morally reprehensible [iMHO], and I for one couldn't care less about it!! Yes, it's sad that she's leaving behind some children, but they have other family members that can [and maybe will], look after them. And guess what, she isn't the first, and nor will she be the last person in the country to die of "Kaaanccaaa". It happens, people die - in fact apart from the Government wanting taxes from you, it is the only other certainty in this life!! - get over it, and spend your remaining time on this planet with your loved ones, rather than parading yourself all over the TV. Despite what Ponty thinks, this TV program will help absolutely no-one on the planet, except to satisfy Goody's ego!
  13. Ironic that her TV show is on Living TV
  14. LOL. If you'd have saved the invoice templates and account system FIRST, you wouldn't have to change it back and would have saved yourself half a day!! You only have yourself to blame
  15. Oh I have. I just know that when it finally goes brown on my side, the other side is completely burnt to a crisp
  16. We're just trying to ensure no-one makes a pig's ear of it
  17. How will you know if it's going brown BEFORE you turn it over :smt102
  18. Very true. The first thing that one sales rep told us was they would be more than willing to offer us a discount She seemed a little desperate to be fair.
  19. Lowe's in charge
  20. Nor can you receive them
  21. I'll check that out, but I know it is run by Linden Homes who don't work on Monday and Tuesday
  22. What if the players want rid of Lowe too? Maybe hearing the fans singing for what they also want will lift them? We should cater for all
  23. Lowe and Wilde stopped attending games in December anyway didn't they?
  24. Hhhmmmmm I wonder why? Back on topic... I would gladly protest for the full 90 minutes, but the protests need to be aimed at the whole lot of them; Askham, Richards, Wilde, Lowe, Crouch, Corbett etc etc. They've all done their bit to contribute to our decline [some more than others of course], and they should all go and leave the club to get on with things.... If someone wanted to show their contempt for the current set up by getting on the pitch, then I would happily support them. What's the worst that could happen? We get the game cancelled and give the points to the opposition? Big deal, we play 90 minutes and give the points to the opposition anyway!! At least the supporters could hit the club where it hurts by demanding a refund for not seeing the game
