I sold during the last recession - 2 bed flat in Blackpool - I paid £42,000 for it, and after costs etc etc got £42,000 for it [enough to pay back the interest only mortgage ]. About 3 years ago a mate told me that 'my' flat in Blackpool sold for £130,000. I was ****ed off because the mortgage was only about £250 per month, and I could have got about £400 per month rent for it. The moral of the story, unless you absolutely HAVE to, NEVER sell property unless you make a big old profit.

So, with the summer coming up - it is coming up isn't it?? - I'm looking for a decent tripod as I venture out to take more water sports photos. Not really ventured in to the realms of tripods thus far, and went for a reasonably basic Jessops one to get started with, but it's not the most stable piece of kit in a slight wind.... I daresay that with water sports I shall be in a howling offshore gale most of the time, so need something a bit sturdier.... Budget is about £150 - which is to include legs obviously and preferably head too - looking for a ball type head as they seem to be easier to use??? So, let's have those recommendations - and what to steer clear of [apart from Jessops as it's too late ]...... Oh, and clicky linky things would be gratefully appreciated

Not much point arguing about the issue, as he won't keep us up anyway. However, after he hasn't kept us up, let's hope he really is on peanuts as the administrators at least will be happy.
