  1. I don't think so  MRS WSS has got a much milder case, and she's spent the entire day in bed!!! At least I drove all the way to Surrey for a crappy meeting
  2. Getting up and stretching is pretty strenuous stuff. It'd bring me out in a rash
  3. I take solace in the fact that this strain of man flu would probably kill the average man
  4. Well let's see.... My old man is South African. My mother has a bit of German in there somewhere. My Missus is Polish. I'm pretty much all English, born in England. If I sounded anti BNP I apologise. To be fair, I'm anti ALL political parties, as they all say what they think the voters want to hear and renege on their promises if they win.
  5. Man flu
  6. Maybe it's a ploy. Don't advertise the matches and hope that the lunatic fringe will forget about them???
  7. It took a while, but I got it in the end
  8. The main boreders haven't found us yet
  9. I take it Lowe has buried the hatchet with them then.....
  10. They paid their money just like everyone else. The novelty would soon wear off - they can start polls on b-anter but don't...
  11. It's alright, we've got younger ones in the academy ready to replace them.
  12. Kind of buggers up the application forms for the jobs of MP and priest doesn't it?
  13. Indeed. I wish I could change sex at the drop of a hat!
  14. Have you been listening in on the team talks
  15. Popular chap[pess] is our Long Shot. I wonder what it is that attracts all the movers and shakers to the Waterloo Arms
  16. I thought Long Shot's source was Mr Fulthorpe :smt102 Hence the betting and subsequent 'chat' with the tyre kicker...
  17. Is that you sat on the 'A' in your avatar?
  18. I'd agree. I just put Labour because they won.
  19. The last Labour party manifesto
  20. http://www.dca.gov.uk/elections/ge2001/procedures/01.htm#elegability She definitely got one for the general election, but we were living in Wales at the time, and mistakes from the Welsh government employees are second nature!!!
  21. I always enjoy the rumours heard from someone 'down the pub', fills me with confidence it does!!
  22. Might need to get your old man to build an extension on the step
  23. MRS WSS is Polish - always has been, always will be. She is not a British Citizen, never has been, probably never will be either. She works, so technically can be classed as a "Polish Worker". She is on the electoral roll - so is her mother, who is retired, and no longer works, but does pay her council tax - and is eligible to vote. It is only apathy on her behalf that means she never bothers to use that vote.
  24. Oh, I see, insider trading it is then. But, isn't that illegal As for the person you used to work with, did he get fired for passing on confidential information to random people?
  25. To be fair he said "immigrants" as opposed to 'migrant workers'. I would hazard a guess that a fully fledged 'immigrant' would be registered with his / her local authority, happily paying their council tax [or whatever it's called these days], and thus having their name entered onto the electoral register - just like Mrs WSS who is technically an 'immigrant'.....
