  1. Why would we want anything to do with Hoddle again? He is a useless manager / coach, who has never actually achieved anything in his managerial career. Good for him he's set his own academy up. I hope he makes a success of it, so he can say he's been succesful at something, just don't involve us.
  2. Multi talented isn't he
  3. Surely you had to pay VAT on the total 'sale' and not the Gross profit, which is effectively what the consumer pays as it is included in the price of the product. Corporation tax covers the tax payable on the profit
  4. We already have a DoF
  5. I was working, so didn't watch it, but some guys came to the pub and said it was more like the 80's style monkey noises. Disgraceful.
  6. I doubt it was us. Anyone with any sense would have bet us to lose long before kick off.
  7. He was my all time favouritest
  8. They do don't they? Or are they exempt from serving time?
  9. Technically an off the record informal chat on the phone doesn't constitute a reference. However I know exactly where you're coming from, as I always refuse to give a verbal reference, instead insisting that we discuss things less formally, for both good and bad employees.
  10. What if a Muslim sympathiser sympathiser were killed?
  11. Correct. Data protection and all that...
  12. Are you sure that's not aviation fuel?
  13. ALL references HAVE TO BE honest. If you've done nothing wrong, you can expect the reference you deserve. Not that they mean much these days anyway, just confirm you turned up for work, did a bit of work then went home without stealing all the company's assets....
  14. Don't worry as there is a fixed pricing increase for booze ensuring they will receive much more income from your local boozer every budget announcement for a number of years to come.
  15. So a British charity, that collected money from British people living in Britain, then went and invested it's money in Iceland instead of Britain. And we should feel sad about it? I imagine they didn't pay any tax on their interest 'earnings' all the while this money was tucked up in Iceland, but we're supposed to bail them out with our taxes?? The lunatics haven't just taken over the asylum, they appear to be in control of world finances too
  16. Where do you buy fuel? In Tescos it's only 107.9p per litre
  17. You seem to be suggesting there is such a thing as a bad reference
  18. 14:00 itv1.
  19. Unless of course the stayaways are staying away from more than just SMS....
  20. Surely if HE decides to throw the towel in that would be HIS decision to stop playing. Not sure where being forced to retire comes into it....
  21. You're joking right? Are you saying people would prefer it if Killer ignored his injury worries and continued playing - probably at a lot less than 100% fit - and potentially left himself unable to walk in later life. Crazy people everywhere.
  22. If it was anyone else I think I would be with you on that one..... I think for sure their is some selfishness involved, but I would say it is more to do with his competitive spirit and the 'need' to play / compete. I would like to think just like Claus, that Killer has made more than enough to live comfortably for life, and while he is doing what he is to achieve personal goals, the achievement of those will help the club. I'm sure there must be one or two out there who aren't mercenaries....
  23. I think most people can see what he has done / is doing for the benefit of the club. However I think that while we applaud his fighting spirit most of us wouldn't mind if he threw the towel in now before he cripples himself for life.
