You're joking right? Are you saying people would prefer it if Killer ignored his injury worries and continued playing - probably at a lot less than 100% fit - and potentially left himself unable to walk in later life. Crazy people everywhere.

If it was anyone else I think I would be with you on that one..... I think for sure their is some selfishness involved, but I would say it is more to do with his competitive spirit and the 'need' to play / compete. I would like to think just like Claus, that Killer has made more than enough to live comfortably for life, and while he is doing what he is to achieve personal goals, the achievement of those will help the club. I'm sure there must be one or two out there who aren't mercenaries....

I think most people can see what he has done / is doing for the benefit of the club. However I think that while we applaud his fighting spirit most of us wouldn't mind if he threw the towel in now before he cripples himself for life.

Bought a phone off FLEEbay, which turned out to be fake. Claimed off the Paypal insurance - they would only have paid me £150 - but they refused to cough up, claiming I hadn't proved the phone was a fake [it wasn't even a good one!!!]. So went to the financial ombudsman - paypal didn't believe my threat that I would - and sent me a stroppy letter once the Ombudsman contacted them, saying they would pay me nothing at all. The ombudsman - called Lee Bowyer!! - agreed with me that the phone was very dodgy, and ordered them to pay back all of my money!! Happy Dayz.

Having just received a phone call from the Financial Ombudsman ruling in my favour against Pay Pal, I have 249 reasons to be happy today!! Just annoying that it's taken almost one whole year to get here!!

He will be 31 in 20 months when his contract runs out. Great age for most footballers to retire..... So he doesn't really have much in the way of long term prospects anyway, so he's probably doing all he can by taking his pay cheque every month for little or no work, allowing him to concentrate on 'other projects'....

As I'm sure most of us would be happy to receive less money for doing exactly the same job, even though our contracts hadn't been changed
