Why would that make life more difficult for the next government? Likely that the election will be in May (November at the latest), so the new Government in place in either June or December. They just reverse anything they don't like in the first week, re-raise taxes to the level they want them to be. It's not a difficult thing to do, Liz the Lettuce's budget was reversed in a matter of days.

I think the figure is closer to £160m for player sales. Then there's the £100m parachute payments which I don't think are included.
