Strong, but lacking goals. Lets see what happens.

Both home wins tonight and its still on. Anything else and we just prepare for the play offs. No problem wanting Pompey to get all three, helps both ends of the table if you ask me.

I'd like to see Sheff Wed get four more points to end the season outside of the points deficit. They have shown a great spirit in the last couple of games. Hopefully they can get back on track next season, but they'll probably just get another massive deduction.

What I hope for now is, Ipswich limp along keeping the nearest two desperately chasing them, pushing their squads to the absolute limit, while we keep rotating our way to a nice 4th place finish. Then we are all ready for the our triumphant play off displays.

Just winding Norwich up at the moment. Getting Nunez out on the touch line as well, that will get the home crown more pissed. Come on Norwich, get a goal. Turn this into a battle.

This week has felt so damn long since we beat Wrexham. At least we'll be well rested!

Tonight we find out at what price was the cup victory. Can't start Ross. Leo gets 65 mins either side. This is going to be tough. Hoping we get a real ref tonight, and not one of the chancers. Escaping with a predictable 1-1 isn't the end of the world, just hope we come through unscathed.

8pm on a Sat is a very shit kick off time. Very shit indeed.

The more I think about this game, the more I consider it a unwelcome distraction. I know that will rub some up the wrong way, but its how I feel. This amazing run has us on the edge of something special. Once we land in the play offs, I fancy us to win it. We need not fear anyone. Play the fringe. Prepare for Wrexham. Enjoy the occasion. This is the most important international break we have had in 20 years. Lets not let the cup spoil it.

The Spurs fallout is utterly delicious. Its so entertaining watching the podcast meltdowns and listening to the pundits point out all their many mistakes. But what makes its even more enjoyable is, we all know a Spurs fan. Every single one of us. And even the most docile of those people has managed to annoy us during a conversation about football over the years. It's just so funny watching them squirm.

Spurs have just made the football talk far more interesting during the international break. Very grateful.

Leave it all out there today. We are at the end of a exhausting run of games where we have had to fight right down to the last minute in each one. But do our jobs today and we have the most welcome international break I think I can ever remember. But we must make it count. No second gear, no foot off the gas, finish this run of games and we are in a great position for the run in. Other games falling nicely thus far. Gulp

Interesting to see how he handles his next game. The spot light is on him now.

Even this morning, I'm still surprised we didn't concede a late goal in that game. Time and time again we have fluffed it in the late stages. But it does feel different now. Having a real keeper is going to change our weak mentality, as fans and players. And this head of steam we are building has come at the perfect time. No one will want us in the play offs. We might not be ready for promotion, but there sure is good path right now. Crazy season.

This is going to sting.

One thing is for sure. The bench won't be bailing us out.

Win this, and its ramps up the pressure on Hull and Wrexham. But its going to be a tough game. Hope we are on it tonight.
