A dreadful couple of seasons, for sure. I was certain we were going down last term, before the turn around. But watching people lose their shit this season has really opened my eyes. We were so close to going out of business a short time ago, 24 hours from the club getting wound up. A downturn of epic proportions. Getting spanked on and off the pitch on a weekly basis. Now that was harrowing. This, well its been coming. We've rode our luck and made shit decisions, and that has led us to now. But stop being so dramatic. People are going to lose their jobs, the club will lose money. But this isn't anywhere near as bad as to where we have come from.

The good news about this manager change is, they hadn't stopped playing for the last guy. The intensity was still there, just the confidence and quality that were missing.
