  1. Never take his incompetence personally. He's just a prick.
  2. Clever move by Sky. As most media does now, try and be controversial to get clicks. He will do that, for sure. Side note. He's a prick.
  3. Got no beef with Redders, but man did he need to leave. Don't let our sub par replacements make you remember his last couple of seasons more fondly, its not healthy
  4. Man, I hope he stays, even if its just for one more season.
  5. In with a chance of the bed-wetters cup. For sure.
  6. Lovely set of games. So bored of Spuds and Utd. Really looking forward to this. And who wants to waste some easy fixtures on the first month where we always give points away. This could be the wake up call we need.
  7. Yep. £40M, big enough for us to be content & their fans to hate him after a few months. I like James, but he's a highlight reel player. He'll be under a microscope day one.
  8. Nope. But they are already gilding the history books. Nathan Jones, the man who stopped City. And stop City he did. That match was the biggest abnormally of the season.
  9. I'd understand that argument more if they were getting it right when doing the reviews. But its still so subjective. The same challenge a week later leads to a justified different outcome. Might as well leave it to one guy in real time. Makes me doubt every goal we score, sucks the fun out of it. I can't stand it.
  10. Can't stand it. The celebrating when the goals ruled out like its a fucking goal. What has happened to the game. Just awful.
  11. I'm actually a bit excited. Leaving VAR behind. The big six. £100M players. Shit fans. Shit talking points. Its been a trudge the last few years. Bet we are all bzzin in the build up to the new campaign. (surely our owner has accounted for this and we won't have stories of bankruptcy in the next few weeks)
  12. For me, this match represents a massive milestone. Over the 11 years back in the big time, we've all enjoyed some rather unexpected wins. The first four years we were trail blazers. I'd go as far to say we won't finish 6th or higher in my lifetime. You can quote me, I look forward to it. But, looking back over our return to the top flight flight, my favorite match differs from most. Getting Mourinho sacked, Ralph crying, defeating Swansea's shenanigans, oh there were some beautiful moments, for sure. But one stands out for me, above the others. And it will be one that many will have forgotten. It might well have only been a 2-0, when in truth it should have been a six. There was no fear, no division. The manger still needed his words translated in the highlight show, that was probably our biggest criticism. The team worked together, and smiled together. And this game felt like one of the pinnacles of the time. The high press annihililated Fulham, and propelled us into third place at the end of October. I left that match feeling ten feet tall. I was overwhelmed by just how good we could be. It was the most perfect match I'd ever seen, even though they weren't put to the sword by the end of the 90. I've sat through some proper dross since then, but it doesn't change how good those first seasons were. Even what came later after being pillaged. We can hold our heads high. In all honesty, I'm looking forward to the Championship reigniting my love for the game. Going down with Gao would have been far more dangerous. This time we will have to bide our time. Be more united in the stands. But demand more. We don't need to do much this summer, just don't self destruct. Can we trust them to not do that?.......
  13. How many of West Hams subs get into our first team? I'm going with five.
  14. Wish I was as stoned as Cooper looks.......
  15. Remember when Stu Pearce was in charge, and we won 3-1. Those days are sooooo long gone now. Lets annoy the shit out of everyone and draw this!
  16. Put us out of our misery. This needs to end.
  17. Yey, the hopes back alive again!
  18. HT: Liverpool 1-0 Brentford Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 122 Premier League matches when leading at half-time. Brentford have a record of W1, D2, L7 when trailing at half-time this season. ----------------------------- Nope, not us surprisingly.
  19. So many to pick from. But Wolves. That hurt more than the others. Perhaps because the hope was still well and truly alive back then.
  20. I've very much enjoyed JWP's time with us. He's going to be up there on our stats list with some really good players for many years to come. But, if (when) he leaves, anything north of £40M the expectation of his new club will destroy him. Our highlight reel from the last six years really paints a rather misleading story when it concerns this lad. Absolutely superb in a couple area's. Fit and ever present, yep another tick. But the every weekend top player necessities that are required will drive the Toon/Villa fans around the bend. Lovely lad though, he can marry my daughter anytime. In law gold cup standard.
  21. Massive game for Forest. Us, not so much.
  22. No Tadic to save us this time, unfortunately.
  23. Can we get Nathan Redmond back.....
  24. 1-1 destroys both our seasons. Lets be having yaaaaaaaaa
  25. I'm in the mood for a win.
