Way outclassed. A co host has fallen. Now for the next.

This could be a rather interesting game. Very different to the last few. I think they will set out to come at us, with energy being a key focus. They will expect us to tire quickly, and struggle with the altitude, which surely will play a big part. But if we get out tactics right, we should be able to counter that, and actually use it to benefit our game with more space in front, allowing us to create better chances. Hell, I'm more excited for this than those low block bullshit performances we've struggled to overcome. Bring it on.

In 2002 I went to the pub to watch England at 8am, can't remember what game, but drank half a pint, felt sick, went home and fell asleep. The pub can fuck right off this time. That is some ungodly hour to have company, let alone be drinking in a establishment.

I'm with you guys, the goal should have stood! But. There's apparently a microchip in that ball that detects the touch. Science ruins it yet again.

Portugal Croatia, best game of the tournament so far. That was amazing. I nearly shed a tear for the Croatia Veterans at the end. Oh what a way to go out. Modric, Perisic, you will be sorely missed. Anyone who missed it, make a cuppa and settle in for ten minutes of the most exciting highlights!

Yeah, I saw some of his flashes of ability. A glimpse into what he perhaps might do. But always in inconsequential games. When someone else has done the hard yards and got us into a winning position. But when you really need a break out player against a good team, he would be absolutely invisible. Again, I'm hoping we get the really determined to succeed version this coming season, but I'm not holding my breath.

These games are now moving so fast I didn't even realise Almiron has already served his one game ban. The start of the tournament felt so slow, now the games are almost coming round too quick.

I still have hope for Fellows, but that was worse than mediocre from him last season. I was expecting big things. Barely got sporadically okay performances.

Sending some melt up there to see if Hackney was training, justifies the punishment we received? Nope. It was a injustice. I hope we've learned to lie and cheat better. Hopefully the shame of all this keeps the self flagellation brigade at bay, I find them more tedious than the rival clubs banter already.

Ordinarily the silence would be welcoming. But the process can no longer be trusted. Hope we fight the next injustice with more vigour.

Oh no, I'm conflicted. Troy Deeney hates Djed Spence.

Jordan Henderson has began his warm up. Should be ready by October.

Not being mugged on the first offer is heartening.

Going to need thicker skin to get through this coming season if that annoys you. We are in for some real pelters.

Yum. Not buzzin, yet, but yumm.

So they cracked down on time wasting. The keeper can no longer hold on to the ball, the throw ins need to be immediate, and then they stick two fucking advert breaks. What a load of shit.
-
Early goal please, or this will be shite.

Jesus, its hotter than Gibson's May rage today! (sorry, worst bump ever.......)

I always found Ronaldo to be more entertaining than Messi. Even when his team mates weren't on it, he'd still be able to make a difference and influence a result. Some of the headers he scored over the years were sensational, his ability to hang in the air was incredible. But alas, the debate is now over. Messi has proven to be the the all time great. He owns all the key stats, and has a consistency that has followed him into his twilight years. Perhaps it was his return to Utd that caused Ronaldo damage. Or his time in the desert. But seeing his team mates have stopped believing in him, makes me wonder if he might have lost some self belief as well. Time to hang it up. Don't wait for them to ask you to leave the party. That's not how a king leaves.

So she is now only on there to wind up the people who don't like her/criticise her. What a shit use of a platform. If she was a good pundit, she wouldn't bother with all the other crap. I don't want to know about her dead dad. I don't care for her messaging on her top. It just makes the blackboard blithering less tolerable. The be kind age is dead. These twats killed it. What happened to the automated var check. Like the one from the other night that looked really contentious that they waved away almost straight away? Someone proudly announced how efficient it is now? That didn't seem very efficient.

Spain are boring. I can't appreciate any of their good work because its just so boring.

sted 2 hours ago If you have something to say, let it be said. If its something you don't want a wider audience catching, perhaps keep it to yourself. It's probably the least annoying new rule for me. ---------------------------------------------------------- The biggest problem with this is, in the next couple of days we are going to see the same situation, and the ref will not produce a red card. Also, there will be players weaponizing it to try and gain an advantage, when the rule was put in to presumably try and stop discreet abusive behaviour towards an opposing player. Almiron didn't look to be in a aggressive stance. It all looked fairly harmless, but its a new pot hole to avoid now.
