Agree if we don't go up this season it's only going to get harder next with the drop in parachute payments. It sounds like he thinks we are a team that has come up from league 1 and will find it difficult against the big clubs. Unfortunately we are the big club who's come down from the Premier league and to be soundly beaten like that in the last 2 weeks has no excuses. How he can defend the players after that is beyond me. Embarrassing that a club relegated from the Premier league can be totally clueless against the ball playing in the championship. This brand of football will not work at this level. The players aren't good enough to implement it, and the more we try to play out from the back the more teams will press us. It's like giving teams a head start. So bad.
