Tonight Meridian tonight hit an all time low. We played a top of the table Championship game last night and they show all of 10 seconds if that highlights of the goals. But yet they dedicate a few minutes to 200 Skates protecting in the stadium after game and show a couple of interviews from their manager and Ward. I don't usually rant but what a joke!!!

I always liked him when we signed him, remember a winner at home to Arsenal in a 1-0 win the day that Grobbelar played in goal after all the bribery allegations. Lambert was always going to get injured sooner or later. We failed to bring in a similar player to him. Beattie on a free would have shown his worth today I'm sure and the loss of Lambert wouldn't have been such a miss. All in my opinion of course

He's a victim of the 5 sub rule IMO. If we had 7 subs each game he'd be on the bench and probably made a few appearances this season.
