This is good news IMO. I work in a financ of businesses etc and I see this as Southampton LH hasn't found a buyer. All shares etc will now just go and SLH will be wound up. Club will be removed from Stock Market and someone has brought Southampton FC outright. I would expect an announcement ASAP.

Oi Lungs you should be concentrating on your supposed takeover of Eastleigh. Don't forget the plans we discussed the other day. I am guessing any takeover we lodge we will have to compete with a counter offer from Marc Jackson but I am sure our innovative ideas will win the day ;-) Anyways back to Saints....

May as well shut the ticket office now and send all staff home until further notice??? What else us the club paying them for at the moment? Can't sell season tickets, no more match tickets so sell. I know it's harsh but hard times call for hard action. Plus if we get taken over they can all have their jobs back

How can we afford to reseed the pitch when 1 we can't guarantee we will even exist next season and 2 we can't even afford a pot to **** in at the moment!!!

I have mentioned 2 bands to Simon on here and the band I know who are defo playing had no problems and a prompt reply. The other band are currently in discussions and have had no problems though

LOL at Santlee and St David during Paul Allen takeover. I remember once St David was posting and saying Saintlee was hit in the loos at SMS awaiting the arrival of Paul Allens reps! LOL

I have heard this as well from my firend who works for a large property developer (we are linked with a potential property developer) He said he heard it from a reliable source as well, but hasn't revealed who :o/ could have just read it on here though LOL
