Don't forget 8 years ago things looked oh so different We were an established premiership club, new stadium, financially stable and they were a bottom half championship club with a **** stadium and no hope If we survive as a club things can change very quickly in football. Was speaking to a Bristol City fan today and I never thought the day would come when they are in a better position than us.

I just couldn't be bothered to go and support AFC Soton in Wessex league. Call me a glory fan but I just couldn't get behind that. It just wouldn't be Southampton. I would just watch football as a neutral and support nobody.

Can someone please tell me what is the point of the ticket office being open if we cannot sell season tickets??? why would someone go down there? We are paying people to do nothing at the moment.......

I am so glad I am working and training in Bristol for next month so I can't keep checking on here every minute. Instead I will be pleasantly surprised by any news :-)

Went down when the show kicked of and stayed for just over an hour. Would have stayed longer had it not been for the fact no food was on sale. Was told burger vans had failed to show up. Music was good and stage in Dell Cafe was good

I think it was deleted to save peoples face on here. Will never forget someone on here bragging and saying 'I have seen the statue and it's great but I am sworn to secrecy' When it was revealed and people remembered this comment the reply was I never saw it completed only in parts' LOL FFS the whole thing from shoes to top of head was a disaster. Even the bloody plinth was terrible LOL. I will never forget a topic 'Plinth out' LOL I also remember people saying 'This is Saints, it won't ever be taken down, we are stuck with it' How I long for the days when our main worries were a statue :-(

Wrong mate. Myself and Crab Lungs were championing Bruno Metsu to be Saints new manager. Rumours were true he was linked an approached. It was in back page of echo I believe.

Do you need a ticket for the day event on Saturday or just pay at the gate? Just been speaking to lead singer of BlindVision and he's very impressed with re wholeset up and he said the bands are being supplied with top quality amps and a drum kit already set up on stage.

This is good news IMO. I work in a financ of businesses etc and I see this as Southampton LH hasn't found a buyer. All shares etc will now just go and SLH will be wound up. Club will be removed from Stock Market and someone has brought Southampton FC outright. I would expect an announcement ASAP.

Oi Lungs you should be concentrating on your supposed takeover of Eastleigh. Don't forget the plans we discussed the other day. I am guessing any takeover we lodge we will have to compete with a counter offer from Marc Jackson but I am sure our innovative ideas will win the day ;-) Anyways back to Saints....

I hope something does happen tomorrow and that we can all enjoy our weekends. Otherwise it's back to this again on Monday. The constant looking is so annoying but it's become a habbit now. Wake up at 6 first thing I do is check Echo Website for news!!!!!!

May as well shut the ticket office now and send all staff home until further notice??? What else us the club paying them for at the moment? Can't sell season tickets, no more match tickets so sell. I know it's harsh but hard times call for hard action. Plus if we get taken over they can all have their jobs back

And we are sat a league below them and need to get out of that first!!!!
