Signed by Souness from Stoke for 250k I think. I seem to remember him getting England under 21 caps? Didn't we sell him to WBA?
-
A win over undefeated Leeds as well. I'd say he deserved it over Pardew anyways
-
anyone know any good boozers by the stadium for away fans?
-
you don't know what time i am leaving ;o)

Going A36 way and stopping at the Hillside cafe on the way, worked in Bristol for 6 weeks earlier his year and found this route ok to be honest, Bath is where your most likely to have hold ups but that was mainly to do with road works so hopefully they have been completed now

The only new manager I remember winning their first games in charge are Alan Ball, Hoddle & Paul Sturrock the new manager effect doesn't seem to work on us, must be the number of managers we have had.

Rang up the Ticket office 10 minutes ago, still to get allocation through from Bristol Rovers. They may have it tomorrow morning they may not. Not being funny but how long does this take to work out? Just give us what they gave us last time and send the tickets down. I am sure if it was at SMS Bristol Rovers would have their ticket allocation by now

Not sure i'd want him back. Who would people drop for him? Our midfield is best it has been for some years so why change it? Surman hardly lit the world alight after 2006/2007 season!
-
Was Ince at the game? Couldn't see him fron Northam!
-
I don't think Pardew would move all the way up there for a job, if you think he has alwayas managed down south. If the Reading manager loses his job i'd be more concerned, i know he left them for West Ham but I think they'd be interested in him

see they are already spending their new found billions LOL http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1221790/One-time-Manchester-United-Liverpool-target-Cherno-Samba-handed-trial-Portsmouth.html

you indeed need to get a life

It's basically just a load of pikey 15 years olds doing it. Looked over yesterday and there were 3 lads bashing hell out of the stadium not even watching the game. There aloud to do this but I'm not allowed a top on my bottle of coke :-/

Very impressed with him. How nobody else picked him up I don't know. He's quite fiery which I like as well and very passionate. Needs to lay off the ball boys a bit though lol
-
Their number 3 Wright I think his name is was outstanding. Amazed they took him off. We didn't get near him and he seemed to have so much time and space whenever he got the ball plus all their main plays seemed to go through him

Can anyone see Cortese putting up with this much longer ?

1 win in 10? I wouldn't even call that inconsistent lol -

I think tonight is the wake up call our players need. We couldn't keep drawing and I think this loss may be a kick in the testicles the players need to go on a winning run.(I hope so anyway) as for Pardew, he needs time! Southampton FC - Snatching defeat from the Jaws of victory since 1885 -
SAF: can I come to the game tomorrow? Skate: Yes but dint wear the shirt LMFAO this is comedy gold. Gutted we won't see him in the shirt

So, why DID Mark Fry prefer Pinnacle over Liebherr?
Paul Chuckle replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Tony, just one question here and would really like you to answer it? Why was Michael Fialka put on Sky Sports News as the money man behind the bid when you have since said that ceratin people dropped out towards the end so were they the money men? It has been shown since that 'Micky' did not have 100s of millions to spend so why did you put him on TV as the money man behind the deal? Thanks P.S does anyone have video footage of Fialkas Sky Sports News interview? Would like to see it again and here what his promises were... -
Something I always wondered about The Dell

I remember this real miserable bastard worked in there around 1999 - 2001. Funny how Wembley ownership has been mentioned as I had totally forgotten all about that but remember it now you mention it! I remember going down there with my mum Around 94/95 season and getting the saints training shell suit made by Pony I was 10 at time but remember it costing a fair bit even back then, the jacket looks similar to the one Noel Gallagher wore in Wonderwall I think. -
I drink in King Alfred on match days but didn't realise they were upstairs? As for Steve Grant I think he distanced himself from the trust a long time ago I thought???
-
These supporters groups are run by the same middle age people that I remember from my youth and I'm 26 now! It's time for a new set of fans to step forward and run these supporters group! Time for Steve Grant or of similar ilk to step up to the plate and time for Ford, Illingsworth, McMillen, Chorley, Mike O'Callaghan etc to step aside as they have gained nothing for this club!
