Aren't we forgetting Norwich???Who are there last 3 games......
-
I believe James George of ShipWreck fame whom is a massive Saints fan is organising. He has approached numerous reality TV stars to play

Yeah i think the guys have a bright future in the music business and they are doing well at the minute. When i mentioned it to the band they instantly wanted to take part, no questions asked they just want to be part of helping SFC and thats what its all about helping SFC. Fair play to you guys for organising it, just hope the sun is shinning and it will be a good day

I have managed to get hold of local band BlindVision as lead singer related to my GF. Group of 15 year old lads from Soton all big Saints fans who appeared on Radio 1 Switch last week as the house band. I think they have contacted the organizers of this to perform. I will defo be down for the whole day :-)

Probably a wedding fare down there

Anyone know when we were actually top of any league? In my lifetime and i was born in 83 I don't remember us ever being top of any league, not even after 1 game of the season so next season I just want to see us top of the league, even if it is bloody league 1, i just want to be top even just for a day LOL

I think the club need to charge £250 for a season ticket next season and thats a fair price IMO in the current climate and how sh*t the team has been the last few seasons, That price is a decent realistic one. Also make all under 16s season tickets £23 for a season!!!!!!!!! I think Sunderland do the same thing

Saints Legends V Southampton Current
Paul Chuckle replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
As I posted here, this is being arranged currently but will be an ex Saints Vs Celebrity match. Just to add an extra bit, the legends have agreed un principle to play just trying to get enough celebs together to make a team. As i have already said once i know more i will let you guys know. May be after volunteers to help hand out flyers etc at the enxt home game. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=11815 This is currently being arranged by a Saints fan who has appeared on a channel 4 reality TV show and done a few other bits of radio, and TV work. All I can say at this time is that the legends have been contacted and are in the process of sorting out celebrities to play in the game. I believe Eastleigh have agreed in principle to hold the game but still to hear back from SFC about it taking place at St Mary’s Stadium. This is all I know at this time but once venue and date is sorted i will post on hear and hope as many as you can make it. Will be auctioning of a place in the team etc............... -

LOL was waiting for someone to mention Packham. Made me LOL though
-
Yes but when asked on the show before he said he was a Southampton fan, even though he doesn't really like football

I raised this last year about shutting the west quay shop but i think its better to keep this open. The megastore should only open on match days and the westquay shop should open all the time IMO The staff in the megastore must have nothing to do during the day? Went in yesterday and 5 members of staff stood around and me and my mates the only people in there.
-
That made me LOL ha ha ha. Still brings a smile to my face everytime I see it. Would love to see the posts on this from 2 years ago. Started with polite 'yeah looks ok' to some if the funniest posts I've ever read

Not sure if already been posted but here’s the info on those in charge now: http://www.begbies-traynor.com/david_hudson/29

What now for the Saints Trust?Surely they are in an even weaker position than they were before with no share holding what's so ever with SLH going in to Admin!!!!!
-
The most worrying thing i have read today And it means the Saints are now threatened by liquidation and could drop out of the Football League, if SLH fails to attract new investment by the end of the summer.

His temperament and consistency, together with a high level of fitness, enabled him to continue to play every match until 18 January 2003 when he limped off with an injury in a 1–0 defeat to Liverpool. This brought to an end a run of 113 consecutive appearances, a Premiership record for an outfield player (since surpassed by Frank Lampard).[4] His run started on 4 March 2000 since when Bridge had played 10,160 consecutive minutes of Premiership football, not missing a single minute's play through injury or suspension.
-
Didn't he play every minute of every game for like 100 odd games? Doesn't he still hold that record for an outfield player in the premiership??????
-
A P*mpey fan I work with said to me this morning that he dreamt last night that we beat QPR 4-1 and Surman scored the 2nd goal worth a £1.00 bet i think

Proof that we are no longer a youthful team

But in the long run the likes of Gobbern, McGlaggon, Patterson, Mills will all be better for this seasons experiences Gillett is 23 i think but he wasnt getting a look until this season and is turning in to a useful player. If anything i reckon he'd have gone by now had he not been given the chance. -
MLT statue would have to be in the pose after he had just scored that wonder goal against Blackburn whilst he has his hands raised in the air Can't find the pic though
