Ross Stewart does have the ability to make breaks like that - he'll really need to get into flow, and have the team be very used to playing him in - in training - before we see it in a game though.

Whilst it was frustrating to watch Tonda keep taking off our best player after 60 mins in mid winter we are now in a position where we have almost the whole squad available, when most of the league are walking wounded. I would be happy to start with Charles and Bragg in midfield for example. Maybe Edozie and Matsuki too. But continue to bring on the rested players for 10-25 mins to keep them involved and up to speed.

He screwed up at least three times defensively in the first 40 minutes. Could very easily have been punished by QPR.

That was a fun watch. Felt like everyone played pretty well. Great to see Jack & THB playing with confidence. Clearly the team trying to set up goals for Larin & Archer. Larin has been a good addition I think. His hold up play; and just generally making life tough for the defenders creates so much space for the creatives around him. A few lovely touches as well. Does anyone seriously think that our team this year would be better with Tyler in it; rather than the players we signed with the Tyler money [Fellows, Azaz, Scienza] He can beat a man beautifully, but assists and goals were far less abundant.

Might be as simple as Manning being a Martin favourite, and then a language barrier subsequently.
