Post!!! Again!!
-
They are getting more joy in wide areas, as we close up a bit. Bree and Welington should be able to shore it up. But could probably do with a Fellows on for Matsuki or Jander coming on.
-
Whew! Peretz missed that one completely, but cunningly so he could put Moore off.
-
Round of applause for Manning. Really solid both in defence, helping Edozie out too. Larin looked stronger the longer it went on. Thought we'd get Fellows on with Stewart. I take it he's there somewhere.
-
Larin!!!! Lovely. So pleased for him.
-
Nice from Larin. Nearly. Leo on!
-
When Manning is the rock behind Edozie, it's probably time to switch Edozie.

Cracking half of football. Tonda making a lot of changes. He's been very good at giving minutes across the squad. So, not as worrying as it might have been. MVP Downes coming in, is always good when he's on form. We were so much in charge of the opening spell, and well worth a 2 goal lead. Not to mention Larin and Azaz hitting the bar. At that point, we dropped off just a little. Still enough to mainly keep Wrexham at bay. But they hit the outside of the post, and always have that direct Moore outlet. THB not challenging for that header, seemed to have helped the ref make up his mind. There front 2 of Moore and Windass have plenty of experience. Larin has been much more involved than Moore. It can be hit and miss. Some of our build up play had to be slower as Larin was deep, and would take time to get up. Edozie, who has shown both good and mixed parts of his game, put in a couple of excellent deliveries that just needed a touch. And, as Larin himself pointed out, he could do with Matsuki or Azaz closer for any knock downs. Wrexham will be thinking they have a lot more to give. We'll be looking to take advantage of any gaps, and we've a very strong bench. COYY!

Even as I typed it, I was telling myself what a terrible over simplification I was making for the purpose of a glib post. I even considered adding a line, but it detracted from that glibness level I was unable to stop myself going for. On the plus side, I've 2 interviews lined up for national papers, where glibness is much more important than accuracy.

Looking forward to the howls at the headline of:- "Government overhauls SEND. Enforces healthy diets."

Not a good time to have "Spud" as part of your sponsor.

Entertaining. But with us back in the PL and Europe it might be tougher to follow it.

Team in red and white stripes seals promotion. Lincoln up to the Championship.

A Sheff Wed win against them today, would also be funny.
-
Oxford not doing much with the 1 man advantage. Of course, it is harder against 10.
-
I'm already looking forward to that roster. 🙂

MLT gets a mention on 1 club players. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cqxl2w1r7rwo There's a little ranking thing at the bottom, where you can place him top and submit. 🙂

I went in this king it might actually be more than the 5. I was thinking Fernandes might have started. I'd forgotten (scrubbed from my memory) Downs. Like you say, a good spot. And a reminder of the massive clear out that was going on in the summer. Also, with Quarshie a bit more at the periphery, and Downs, that the new approach at the time, like 3 at the back, would be replaced too.
-
A quick peek showed it to be... Baz, Edwards, Stephens, Quarshie, Sugawara, Downes, Charles, Welington, Fraser, Robinson and Armstrong. 5 away on loan/ left.

I'd point out a number of telling things from his favourite joke selection, of which that was one. However, his 20 years here have shown he's too stupid to learn. It's really us, or people who don't agree with him fully, or voters of other parties who are all to blame.

Pretty much the same, but less sweary, than the Pope's Easter message.
