Should we get promotion, and wish to push on for a further one, then having a full time team is going to have to be dealt with. We'll only go so far, if we don't.
It's a very enjoyable sport with growing interest and record attendences. I'm all for the club fully embracing it.
Club debts are sustainable, and we remove more surplus wages each year. I'll be looking forward to everyone accepting no transfer business/ club improvements in the other parts of the club, because we have some manageable debts. That's not going to happen.
So it shouldn't be used as an excuse not to invest in the women's team. As a premier league club, we're in the best possible position to do make those investments in the next couple of seasons.
