  1. How long have I been sitting...wow... it's 2025!
  2. Oxford playing Ipswich and ourselves in quick succession could be a plus too. Hopefully taking something off of them, but not being quite 100% when facing us.
  3. My cut and paste skills are lacking today... The Oxford one is a stand out. They have Ipswich to play too.
  4. Hounslow (h) 10/04 Keynsham (a) 14/04 Plymouth (h) 17/04 Portsmouth (h) 20/04 Oxford (h) 27/04 Cardiff (h) 01/05
  5. Great win! I was waiting for that feed...and waiting...
  6. Not long now...
  7. Beaten by The Kraken. Which is fair, as I'm only two detectives compared to him being a giant sea monster. 🙂
  8. And as if by magic... 1-2!
  9. Yups! C'mon. That will hopefully have rattled them.
  10. I'm looking at the Ipswich twitter feed.
  11. C'mon Saints! They'll have to go for it in the second half.
  12. He was on the radio this morning, doing the deciding for Authobiography Wars. He was aksed if he'd ever played against Steven Gerrard. He said that he'd been on the same park as him, but that was about as far as it went.
  13. Rats. I'd even reworded to to avoid an even more "Oh matron!" first attempt. 🙂
  14. A point was fair on the day. Not an awful lot from either side really. We did need a special strike from JWP though, with us not creating much in the second half. Long's misfire at the end was about as good a chance as it got after the break. Diallo got in some good challenges in his own box, even if there was a little worry for one of them from me. I would have liked to have seen us really press them, but there wasn;t much of that. Although not at his best today, Romeu's positional sense was missed when he went off. See midweek comments hinting at contract negotiations being a little far apart.
  15. time for a break with Leeds on the front foot.
  16. It did look intentional, if only more of a block than an attempt to slap/thump
  17. Yeah, we don;t want to overcommit. They will come on to us, and give us opportunities.
  18. had Broja been a couple of feet further back...
  19. Should we get promotion, and wish to push on for a further one, then having a full time team is going to have to be dealt with. We'll only go so far, if we don't. It's a very enjoyable sport with growing interest and record attendences. I'm all for the club fully embracing it. Club debts are sustainable, and we remove more surplus wages each year. I'll be looking forward to everyone accepting no transfer business/ club improvements in the other parts of the club, because we have some manageable debts. That's not going to happen. So it shouldn't be used as an excuse not to invest in the women's team. As a premier league club, we're in the best possible position to do make those investments in the next couple of seasons.
