I much prefer him over McCarthy. However, with the latter signed beyond this season, it would seem very likely that it will be McCarthy battling it out with a new 'keeper for next season. I'd prefer to strengthen elsewhere. So, I'd not mind Fraser not able to get as good a deal elsewhere, and signing an extension with us for next season. I think Ralph recedtnly prasied the tradtional aspects of Forster's game, indicating that he has someone else in mind. Guess I have to have some faith in the scouting.

Beaten by one of the best teams on the planet. While the scoreline could have been more at the end, we were in it for two thirds of the game. We did have some decent spells. Undone by not being clinical when we did get a sniff on goal, and some less than stellar defending, against a team looking and very able to capitalise on any error. I can see why Ralph went with Broja and Adams on the bench. But you want your best strikers to be on the end of your chances, while the team are still in it. In the spell where it was end to end, City were making as many errors as we were. Better outlets might have given us more. KWP, Stu and Romeu were my stand outs for us, pretty much as they always are.

Still time for a Smallbone hat trick. Just get him up there. 🙂

I think Stephens mentioned to Dean what he thought of the decision. Couldn't have been that honest about Dean, as he'd have been sent off. 🙂

We were giving as good as we got in some end to end exchanges. It was soft, but that's what's given. Tghe 2 who were waiting to come on, have a goal to get just to stay in it.
