I can't see that happening unfortunatley. We admitted to breaking the rules, whilst I think many (inlcuing myself) feel like we've been hard done by with the excessive punishment, I can't see a world where we'd be able to sue them.

So as expected then, the silence is because battles are still ongoing. I wouldn't change the badge personally, I like it - feels like it falls in the sweet spot between retro and modern. I would however like for us to use the Southampton coat of arms more though. Wether that be integrated into the design of the shirt, a small logo on the kneck or just around the ground.

That's not really true though, we had a wafer-thin squad the first day of Koeman's pre-season. It was only his knowledge of players and pull that meant we could bring in Tadic, Pelle, Mane, Alderweireld etc. towards the middle / end of the window. At this point last season, we had no idea who players like Jander or Scineza were, let alone that we'd sign them and they'd be stand out players.

What do you want them to say? The investigation is clearly still ongoing and there is a solid chance that we're not out of the water with the EFL yet either. The lawyer would have told us to say nothing. They're not rushing into making any decisions on the manager, which is the right thing to do. If we come out and back him, the FA ban him and then we need to sack him, we look like idiots. A lot of whining with no real idea of what you want them to say.

I wouldn't. They clearly knew its 'alleged' that we used clips / feedback from our spying in pre-match analysis. They, probably much like the rest of the footballing world, probably think the EFL have done us over.

Worth saying that we'll probably need 2 new keepers as McCarthy and Jones are out of contract. I just hope the club have learned that Bazunu is not suitable at this level.
