Yeah I’ve noticed that as well, stupid experiments like Adam Armstrong and Ryan Fraser in CM. He’s moaned a few times about the fact we’ve not replaced Tella - whilst having a £22m winger on the bench who’s not getting a sniff. my biggest gripe is how sensitive he is. Any form of criticism from fans or the media and he goes on the defensive in a pretty passive aggressive manner.

I saw today he's (wilcox) has apparently demaned Ten Hag plays the "new" united way... you guessed it, possession-based. Lets hope he takes old Rus and his 80% bullshit stat with him in the summer!

Whoever we bring in to replace Wilcox, has to be in a similar mold and have a similar philosphy. Otehrwise, we'll be re-building season upon season.

Talking of pressing, having watched it all season, our pressing (from our forwards) is absolutely diabolical - so easy to play out and get inbehind us. Probably part of why we conceed so many. We'd be better of sitting in a decent block rather than half arsed pressing.

I thought this last night when Rothwell went off. The senible play would have been to stick Brooks in the 10 - almost in a similar role to KDH.
