It doesn’t really matter for Leeds anyway, win all our games, we finish above them.
-
Yep. Let’s not forget that GD is against us. We won’t get a better chance to recoup a few of them.
-
Cheers for covering part of the cost for my 'seat' next year, I owe you one.

I'm done, he's fucking shit. Get a proper keeper in next season regardless of what leauge we find ourselves in. We might lose a bit from our build up, but we cannot go on having a keeper who saves nothing - costs us way more than he earns over the course of a season. Having a keeper who's a little less comfortable with the ball at his feet might actually help us be a bit more direct.
-
So you've got 2 choices then.. Stand or dont go.
-
yeah I don't see Martin being here this time next year, regardless of what happens this season. We'd get royally embarrsed in the PL with his style and our goal keeper and I think if we fail to go up, we'll lose too much of our core to mount a serious promotion challenge next season and will linger around midtable - play-off's. Promotion and then Brighton swooping in (unlikley on both fronts) would be a win win
-
So we'd need to win all of our remaining games (1 vs Leicester 1v Leeds) and we'd need Lecister and ipswich to lose 2 games (well 1 additional to us for leicester) and Leeds to drop a point. Ipswich have arguably the hardest run in (Boro H, Hull A, Cov A, Huddersfield H) but I can't see either leeds or leciester failing to win in 2 games. I also can't see us beating either of them, so basically, 4th it is. HAd we not completely fluffed our lines over easter, then it would have been in our hands
-
I think we'd be in the top 2 by now if we'd signed Moore. Brilliant championship player.
-
Finishing 4th and failing to win promotion will be a failure, but not enough of a failure to warrent us sacking him. However, I would. His football will not be suitable in the PL if / when we get there. He's a good coach, but tactically far too naive imo. Best thing that could happen is Brighton come in a poach him, in my opinon.

Out Bednerak, KWP, Adams, Stu - Although, Adams aside, I'd like to keep, these will all leave for definate. Mara, Sulemana, McCarthy, along with those out on loan this season need to move on for us to clear the crap and free up some wage budget. That leave a massive hole with the our current loans probably not returning. In Downes & THB (unlikley) Fraser Ronnie Edwards (CB at Peterbrough), Miovski (striker at Aberdeen) New winger, New Keeper Biggest fear is that we need to find replacements for downes and THB, which is likley. That'll be a disaster.
-
We've had far too many of these in recent years unfortunatley. Much like Boufal & Lemina I'm sure he'll go on to have a decent career on the continent but lets get whatever we can for him in the summer.

Southampton City continues... Even copying their kit manufacture now
-
They shouldn't have to though. Its not Saints fault that Leeds are a bunch of twats.
-
Great input Micky boy... Do you agree with the £47 adult ticket price?
-
If you're trying to be funny, all you've done is made yourself look a bit thick... well done.
-
Leeds is a great city - why let the football ruin the day... use that £50 for a few beers

I don't get the opportunity to go to as many away games as I would like (actually, probably wouldn't) anymore, but Blackburn being one of the very few new gorunds for me, I couldn't resist. It really struck home at how poor / flat / pointless our support is. Good numbers, but fucking hell 70% of them are happy to stand in silence and turn their nose up at anyone trying to make any noise. Not trying to be voice of the fans, but its actually pointless with most of you being there. Pathetic.
-
Prices have been released for the Leeds away fixture at the end of the season, probably unsurprising, they're absolutely fleecing us at £47 a ticket. Is it time for us to say enough is enough and just simply boycott? It'll be a dead rubber for us anyway and will almost certainly be on TV - Sounds like a good opportunity to get a bit of media attention about why there are zero away fans there. This is saints though, 3,000 will rock up, groan but stand in silence for 90 minutes.

Its a splinter group of people who haven't been agreed entry to the CoT. Set up by Mickyboy and old nick who've gathered a few other lonley souls
-
oh you're in for a real dissapointment Christophe.
-
On a slightly more serious note - Some of the best football I can remember seeing at St Mary's under Koeman. Quick, direct and effecient - I'd take this over passing the ball around for 95 minutes every day of the week.
-
All in all a really good manager for us, who ended up staying for 18 months longer than he should have. More importantly, a top man who gave his all for the club. A shame how it ended - let down by a load - but I will forever wish him well. Glad he went back to germany rather than taking over someone like Palace or West Ham! Under different ownership, dare I say it SR who are willing to dip into their pocket, who knows how it'll have ended.

That reason being shifting our best CB to RB, to try and squeeze Stephen’s into some weird hybrid CB come CM. We weren’t weak as piss at the back when we played basic and best players in their best position. we were similarly weak as piss at the back when RM decided to go all Pep at the start of the season with his inverted full backs. basically, someone tell RM we do not have the players that City have, so stop trying to replicate.
-
Yep, absolutely crazy management. I get why he wants Stephen’s in there (to drive forward and step into midfield), but the trouble is we aren’t good enough to do that and we’ve lost our best CB and leader in THB. Unless we go back to basics, we’ll lose more than we’ll win conceding 3 a game.
-
He’s clearly playing how he’s been told, or he wouldn’t be getting picked week in week out. That’s on the manager and not him. Today, in the absence of KWP, should have been perfect for him to push higher with the RB playing a little more defensively, yet Martin is hell bent on playing a way which doesn’t suit us, not Manning. there’s clearly a player in there, specifically going forward, we just not making the most of him.
