Yep - that's how I see it.

The CoT strike again!
-
Do you attend games? With all due respect, unless you are a regualr atendee at SMS, its pointless you chipping in with your opinon. Not a dig btw.. a general observation.
-
Very witty! Great work as usual, always!

How about "typical us to lose our unbeaten run, at our managers old club, to our managers old assistant"... Feels like a full house.. 2-1 swans.
-
Thanks for the private message, Turks…. Very interesting indeed! One I hope doesn’t come true. Let’s hope those behind the scenes are trying to convince! Great shout last week on the lad from Bournemouth by the way. Early snippets like that is why I value my CoT membership.

Good player and experienced at this level. A position I’m not sure we need, but if a quality player becomes available then you’d be stupid to not take it up. All in a good signing for me.
-
I had the debate with myself earlier, as I thought the same thing. But for every game we’ve conceded late, there are others where we’ve nicked it at the end. So on balance I think we’re probably about par away from home. That being said, the difference between us and Leicester is that they’re more clinical than we are. I think if we remain unbeaten (winning most) at home and continue to be “on par” away from home, we’ll be in the top 2 come May. Unfortunately we’ve still got some really tough away fixtures still to come.
-
Harsh imo. Any other season we’d be flying ahead at the top and the odd draw away with our home form would be more than enough. the standard set form 4 teams this year is an absolute joke.

Looked lively - can see a touch of Lallana in there, to be fair.
-
Hopefully it’ll all be done by the time we go to Elland Road

There’s clearly never a bad time to score, but I think today we got the first 2 goals just at the right time, which changed the game. Whilst dominating the first half, up until the goal, it was pretty slow and flat on and off the pitch. It had a feel of “it’s gonna be one of those days”. I actually thought Wednesday came out of the blocks pretty well second half and were playing and pressing really high. The second killed the game nd took all momentum they had out of them. I have to say, our composure on the ball was brilliant, especially for the second goal. And for once, we looked clinical on the counter. No one had a bad game, but I thought Fraser was my MOTM. Continually causing them problems down the left, made so many runs we just didn’t find him. It’s been said a few times, but what a partnership TBH and Bednerak are. Our best / most solid pairing since Fonte / VvD or Toby?

I think its time the admins run a poll - Who is on their knee's the most to join the CoT.. Old Nick or always/chapel/tdmicky (whatever account he is using that day).

Another couple of great scoups from the CoT 👏 Based on the group chat, its going to be a very exciting finish to january indeed. That's all I can say for now im afraid.
-
This man should have been captain this season, imo.
-
I'll die on the hill that had we had to rely on Holgate all this season, he'd have been absolutely fine for us. A bit like Stephens, hes a touch unlucky to be behind, imo the 2 best CB's in this leauge.
-
I prefer David Brooks to the tune of Baby Shark. Angus Gunn mk2. Sure to get the infamous chapel kop going.
-
Clarke is exactly the type of player we should be signing. The best players from clubs in the same leauge, good enough to take the step up (imo). However, its quite clearly not going to happen.
-
yep, agreed. I think he'd be a perfect fit for us. Trying to be as well balanced as possible, I'd like to think we have a pretty good chance of landing him, if its down to the player. Wouldn't need to move, you'd imagine Fraser could / would put in a good word (assuming they have a decent relationship), very good chance of playing on a weekly basis, coached by Wilcox previously, clearly in with a chance of going up and fits the sort of player we'd sign if we went up. Martin seems to have decent 'people management'. I could only see it being down to money and us not offering as much as Leeds might (contribution of Bmouth). Guessing he'll know Stephens from last season as well...?
-
Sorry to go all MLG on you, but its quite obvious that the club will be talking to Fraser and his represenatives and he's not getting his information from the press. You're right about the FFP thing though - Same old saints - Always have an excuse to not put their hands in their pockets.
-
The CoT exclusively revealed that Ings does not want to return. Plenty of activity in the WhatsApp group at the minute. Very exciting. All I can say for now.
-
What differnce does that make? If anything, surely it would be better for them if we weren't in the same leauge (championship) next season. If us & leeds go up, its a significantly weaker leauge for them next season.

Seems a no brainer to sign Fraser permantley, surely? Seems to be a great character, settled in really well and we both seem a great fit.
