  1. Both PL years we got them in a cup. You're right that a home league cup tie would be amazing too, especially if it was second round so it took place before the league game. First derby at St Mary's with the new away layout and it's a night game with no cup tie. Be absolute chaos.
  2. Less time to sort it and also local businesses being open with it being a weekday made it more awkward too. Let's hope we beat Northampton and get them in the next round.
  3. Cheers mate. That's something at least I guess but I'd still prefer a smaller allocation and no bubble personally. Appreciate that's easy for me to say though as someone who'd likely still qualify for a smaller allocation.
  4. Imagine they will as a fair chunk of their fans will be stuck there for ages pre match. Has the 2700 allocation been confirmed anywhere?
  5. Looks like it'll go to all season ticket holders tomorrow but no idea how many left. Good opportunity for those who think it's impossible to get away tickets now so I'm sure they'll be buying one. Either that or they'll not bother until November and then moan when they can't get a QPR ticket.
  6. I thought it was normally the beginning of January? Don't think the reset had happened for Fulham last season. Was one of Palace/United? Reckon it'll be Brum or Boro this year. Shame that no games from last season's shit show will count towards the skates.
  7. Extending it outwards into the Kingsland seems on the face of it a lot simpler than making it smaller given the layout.
  8. Is previous purchase history required for this? Don't recall the website stating that like they normally do.
  9. Dare I even say it's worth another team bus welcome? It's not really my thing (and I was one of those who mocked the idea before the game) but I have to admit it looked great from the videos I saw and without doubt set the tone for the match.
  10. Woolston would involve closing the itchen bridge which I assume they wouldn't want to do. Bitterne would make more sense but there's not much area there to hold them while they're waiting for more trains and it's right next to a pub.
  11. Make 'em walk from Fratton.
  12. I always thought if they wanted to avoid the parks they might do down to six dials and then up Kingsway but that's both a really long walk and also restricts routes for home fans massively. I just can't see how they'd want to take an escort through the parks as it'd be so hard to police and there'd be loads of non football people there too.l Obviously doesn't seem to be an issue for this game due to the bubble but it'll be an issue at some point this season
  13. Surprised they haven't confirmed the bubble but I'm assuming it is. What they've written there could apply if not as well though. Don't think we used to be able to go Brittania Road pre bubble? Re the escort thing I've said ever since the ground changes were first put out there that there doesn't seem any decent escort route for high risk games. Disaster waiting to happen I reckon.
  14. I really hate to be one of those people but please don't buy in blocks 20/21/29 if you're not willing to stand and sing. We really can't have people sat in silence next to the away end for this fixture.
  15. Said earlier this year that it was ridiculously short sighted of the club to set up the away end as they have.
  16. Prices will presumably be different if clubs do categories like we do. These are Coventry's match prices.
  17. Yeah it was a joke in 2017 when they only counted home games. In fairness they learnt from it and last year counted all games.
  18. West Ham do a ballot for 10% of away tickets I think unless the allocation is really small. Which sounds fairly reasonable until a person with 8 aways misses out on a Pompey ticket to someone who's done none. Never going to please everyone but ultimately the current system is the fairiest in my view. As I and others have pointed out it's not exactly difficult to get on the ladder either. The real problem is many people don't want to repeatedly travel up north during our worst ever season to watch us get hammered but then expect a ticket for a local game with high demand.
  19. By people not selling them on do you mean leaving the seat empty? Brighton get attendance details from the home club and then take the point away if a ticket wasn't scanned. Surprised we didn't implement that after the Cardiff cup game last season.
  20. This. We're nowhere near at the point of a closed shop yet. Someone I know got their first season ticket in 23/24 and now has 12 away games to his name and is not far off top of the pile. It's getting harder for sure but it's still possible if you're willing to put the miles in. Loads of games last season went to just STH's or even members so there was plenty of opportunities to get on the ladder. As for people buying for points I think some clubs do a percentage of tickets for random collection at every game. People would get sick of that pretty quickly though I'm sure.
  21. Surely there'll be some additional segregation in the away end for the skates match? A block either side, or at least chapel side I'd imagine.
  22. I'm sure not that long ago they used to announce the match day prices and which games were which category all at the beginning of the season. Seems much more secretive now. Probably so they can charge more.
  23. Yeah I remember it being linked with Doncaster last time. Wrexham tickets on sale to members tomorrow. Doesn't mention a category but cheapest adult ticket is £30.
  24. I think aways will sell quite quickly first half of the season particularly as everybody gets their credits up for Fratton. Obviously depends on how we're doing too.
  25. They might even close pubs, pretty sure they've done that before? Cans and pyro down Brittania road from 8am.
