It 100% came from their end, I saw it thrown. The lad wasn't exactly hiding it either so should be easy to identify if they're that arsed about it. I agree that the ref was excellent and wish more were like it. Pissed me off when Harwood Bellis tried winning a cheap foul at the end in the corner and then stopped playing cos he thought it would be given. The ref hadn't given those all day long ao why take a risk like that when they're pushing for a winner?

The thing is while it's always worse against us that stand is always a problem in any big game they play. The media never mention it though so they get away with it and therefore it'll continue.

Agree with this massively. For all the people loving the Downes tackle I thought it was a daft thing to do at that point in the game. It was the only part of the game where we looked to have a semblance of control and were knocking the ball around relatively comfortably having just taken the lead. All of a sudden that happened plus a couple of other incidents with us getting involved in pushing and shoving and it gave both their players and crowd a huge boost and changed the momentum.

The City of Southampton expects... Stupid time to wake up for a game so close by. Loud and proud today my fellow mushes, let's try and stick with the team even if we don't start well and save the dogs abuse for the end if warranted. This is about more than the players on the pitch and let's remind them that our city and club is better than theirs in every possible way. Not feeling at all confident but at least we're not them myth spouting inbreds.

I've thought a lot about this and I wonder what they'd actually do if people broke out of the 'sterile area'. Is there actually a crime they could charge anyone with? Would they show common sense and let people out in an emergency? It's not been an issue so far due to every game being a draw so they've not had to deal with an angry away support but surely at some point there'll be a few who try it.
-
Surely will be red and white. Be good if everyone can be in their seats a good 20 minutes before KO tomorrow to get some atmosphere building. We're gonna be there for 2+ hours before so may as well give the lads some support during the warm up, there'll be plenty of time for drinking beforehand if giving them lot money is your thing.

I think there's proper coaches this time rather than buses so you'd hope there's toilets on board.

I think that last bit is bollocks personally and arguably another part of their myth that they care more. I used to use the hovercraft there a fair bit as well as take my nipper to the pier and regularly saw people showing their Saints allegiances.
-
Yeah, who are we to argue with the 'history of stuff'?
-
No alcohol at St Mary's before boarding but will be there apparently.
-
Prefixed with that cunt Westwood in an interview saying they never leave early.
-
So who's that ticket gone to I wonder...

Don't forget the dock strike classic. It's almost boring now but you have to be extra fucking thick to believe a story about the Royal Navy going on strike. My personal favourite though has to be the one about us stealing all their food. Will never get old that. Favourite Portsmyths could be it's own thread actually.

Strikes me as the sort of person who only wants to win if it's fair and thinks it'd be hollow if we got a poor decision in our favour. Personally I think the best way of winning would be with a 98th minute winner that's 3 yards offside and punched into the net.

Taxis are going to be a nightmare Sunday morning aren't they.
-
Yeah might be perspective thing as I'm in chapel so saw the kingsland north ones first. There was quite a lot all near each other so thought it might have been for a specific reason.
-
I thought that started in kingsland north? Thought it was a bit odd myself.
-
Hope everyone in the front 10 rows is going to sit down as they are told to. Every other away game is fine but you're not allowed to stand at this one.
-
I came across that not long ago and I forgot just how bizarre it was. Walking through a city with a film crew and then bragging that you're 'unopposed'. Imagine if our fans did something as daft as like that...
-
Take it outside the main entrance straight after the game. People in the fanzone and people returning.
-
They definitely didn't clear off happy in 2004, they smashed their own city up and they fought the old bill for hours. The Redknapp one a year later had minimal incident off the pitch.
-
Yeah every goal we score should be followed by a loud rendition of 'sack the board'.
-
Boycott.

While writing my email I've realised something which makes it even worse. GB was the initials who made the suggestion that a public vote is not necessary and there is nobody with those initials being listed as on the board. Which means one of two things: - That person was a FAB member but has since left, confirming changes have happened without the vote the OS mentions. - That person was never part of the FAB, and instead it is a club employee suggesting that the wider fanbase shouldn't be consulted. I've asked questions both about the bubble and the FAB membership process and will paste any reply here. Expect that line on the OS about season ticket holders and members voting to disappear in the next couple of days.
-
They've got an independent supporters Trust, we don't and the FAB is directly linked to the club. The FAB supported it too.
