  1. I honestly think it was that bad they should be thinking about issuing refunds.
  2. And just as the season ticket renewal comes around 😂 Pity they don't sell season tickets for the first half of the season only. Guess we can see why. After today, I'm might try the ticket resale for next Saturday to see how it works.
  3. Took our two tickets out mid year when there was no availability in the family stand. Would make economic sense to move there, but sort of got used to being where we are.
  4. Makes some sense. Gives them 6 or 7 weeks to try and sell at the higher price whilst locking in existing ticket holders. Guess a few more will become available after May 31st too as some supporters let their renewal offers lapse. Hopefully it'll be done online so that we could see the seating plan when requesting a move rather than trying to do it over the phone.

Though nearly half, 82, either voted against or abstained vs the 93 that voted in favour. Sad state of affairs when so many aren't motivated to act on senseless atrocities against innocent civilians. After this fiasco you do wonder what the purpose of the UN is. If it can't wade in and resolve something like this then it may as well pack up.
  6. Holding prices is a welcome move. ideally I would like to move a block along (from outer centre to inner centre as both are £660 for renewals) but it doesn't look as though I can do that unless I pay the higher price as a new season ticket holder (£775) rather than the existing ticket holder price for the inner circle (£660) .... if that makes sense. The FAQ says I should renew mine first, then from June 1st 4th discuss seat moves with the office. By then, the seats that I'd like may be gone of course. Anyway, in that short window, assuming seats are still available, does anyone know if they are available then at the existing ticket holder price? Else moving along a block today is an extra £126 for an adult and an U18.
  7. Was a student at Leeds Uni 89-92 and went to many home games in that period, including their title winning year. Never been as an away fan though.
  8. I see the logic, but the last quarter of a game will be stop start with no rhythm. Could be 10 subs in the last 20-25 minutes. I already feel 2nd halves lack the flow of first halves. I'd be in favour of some form of subs window, but I know that wouldn't get around a genuine sub needed for an injury.
  9. Lets not forget that Broja and Adams have hardly set the world on fire the previous 3 games, so Long and Armstrong was worth a try and it sort of worked. Remember City are arguably the best team in Europe. As a mid table 'selling' club with no real ambition it was always niave to expect to beat Europe's best in a quarter final. As Semmons said its not about league position its more about seeing great young talent play week in week out. Granted most of that today was in dark blue, but I thought Livramento and KWP were very good, that's where the money is going to come from in the next few years. There's no future sales value in Adams, A Armstrong and Long, so their performances are somewhat academic, just like the rest of the season really. Will need to be careful over summer as we'll need to do something to ensure survival next season. That's the sales platform for the young talent
  10. Hi Hobson, How did you get on? I've now got the same problem for tomorrow's match. My daughter has tested positive so have a spare child ticket ... but there's only adults who can come with me.
  11. Dreadful performance. I thought KWP was our best player. His value must be going up as he is consistently putting in good performances. If Timo and Moi get their shit together and perform consistently, then there's £100-£125m right there in a couple of year's time. That's success for the new owners providing we don't get relegated next season.
  12. Be great for whoever gets Chelsea in the FA cup semi-final at Wembley 🤣
  13. Doubt it, though I guess they spot check seats/tickets every now and again. For me, you are just being pragmatic and not deliberately abusing the system. Not sure if there is an honesty route, where you offer to pay the difference. though probably not worth opening that pandora's box. I couldn't make the Newcastle game so gave my adult season ticket to my daughter's friend to use ... so saints are in credit there!
  14. Seems ironic that Newcastle will probably finish higher than us. Have to admire them and Eddie. Newcastle fans demand it, whereas Saints .... well, we're just happy with how it is I guess.
  15. Here's the difference between a team with ambition and one happy with its lot. Remember the strategy is to get the value of key players up to maximise their sale value, not necessarily to win games now we are safe. Not a great showing from those though ... especially in front of their prime buyers. Semmens will be seeing the millions drop by the minute 😂
  16. I think there will be a few with priority given to the Villa game. Disappointing for fans but probably financially better for the owners. Last year Leeds finishing 9th got £135m whereas Palace finishing 14th got £111m. Its not an exact science but 5 places could be worth £25m. Winning the cup from here would net some £3.2m in prize money, I'm sure a lot more from tickets/merch/sponsorship etc. But even if you double it, its a lot les than 5 league places and we've probably more chance of saving league places than winning the cup. As a fan though, I'd prioritise the cup as finishing anything between 9th and 17th isn't as exciting as a cup win
  17. I was bit disappointed with it really. Came across as lacking ambition, even if realistic. Essentially he said we’re a mid table team and aspire to stay that way. We’ll sell talent to the top 6 and use the money to sure up mid tableness and make some profit. Hardly inspirational. I do concede that the lack of any FFP means realistically without a Russian or Middle Eastern suitor, things appear to be as good as they will ever get. But I would like to have heard some fire about developing players, hanging on to them longer, moving up the table, aiming for top 6 or 8 etc. A Leicester is possible, arguably they are (were!) knocking top 6. I didn’t get any sporting ambition from him, just the business one. Not sure I buy the argument of ‘players won’t come here, if we won’t sell them’. Isn’t the point of a contract to give certainty to both parties? Players can obviously leave at any time with a sizeable offer or at the end of their contract. Surely the real aim is to hang on to talent for as long as you can ????? Players will only ever view the Saints as stepping stone, get out of it what they can, no long term aspirations with the team. Seems as odd message. Telling bit was Micah: ‘so what’s the destination – top 6?’. Martin ‘Not really. The destination for us is not about where we finish in the league’ then ‘it’s about creating a pathway for players’. Sounds like we are focussing on being a training academy. Perhaps we should suggest Ralph for the Man Utd job? On a personal level it would be nice to see JWP get some silverware for his talents. Perhaps we should encourage him into a top 6 club? Sounds daft doesn't it.
  18. Was there today and boy do we need to be more ruthless in front of goal. Created a fair few clear cut chances that Broja and Amstromg failed to bury
  19. Kills any argument Ralph has about Newcastle having the chance to field a stronger team in the re-arranged fixture !!!!!!!!!!
  20. Ralph should rest the team now. Lets offer up a 0-3 to save further embarrassment
  21. Looks like Ralph is more worried about getting dragged into a relegation battle. Spurs, Man Utd and Everton will be real tough. That said, I'd have balanced the team across all 4 games rather than throw this game under the bus. IMO should have prioritised this game.
  22. Phew, that was close. Hearing Everton have bought him feels like a last minute winner.
  23. No one has really mentioned what Broja might want in all of this. For me ... he'd be mad to sign for the Saints. He's got the best of both worlds by staying here on loan for another season. Continue to excel at a mid table club, increase your value and have an easy route back to the first team at Chelsea in 18 months if their current strikers don't cut the mustard. if they do and there's no route back to Chelsea, then in 18 months with 2 good seasons under the belt, he'd be in a great position for a move to a top 6 club or secure a lucrative deal with the saints. What's in it for him to change the status quo?
  24. Just got here and Whitmore Hill Road car park is permits only. Website implied it was just turn up for £5. Have parked at Birch St cat Park which is very close. Have to use Ring Go and its £5 for the day. Easy walking distance.
  25. That's great thanks, just what I wanted to know. I am a new season ticket holder, but no away games yet, first one will be at Wolves on the 15th. Spurs is a challenge being midweek but given family ties, Man Utd will make a for an easy weekend away
