I was at Drax Power Station today - the largest CO2 emitter in the UK and western Europe. Nevertheless it generates about 7% of the UK's electricity and if it was shut now there would be power cuts in the UK. The management at Drax have no doubt that CO2 contributes to global warming / climate change. They have all the expertise that they have hired in. That's why Drax is trying to change.
