Archer already missed a sitter. Tonda, I hate you.

Would we have won the league with Ramsdale and Onuachu?

Haven't we covered this, Fabrice? This isn't Turkey. -
Maybe not outwardly. But not responding well or shutting down, absolutely.

When you find yourself in a hole, the first step is to stop digging. This was a good transfer window.
-
He...passed? I thought he would have lashed away at the ball instead.
-
Beat them bad enough, we can force them to hire RM. Please show me there is a God!
-
Just another "what would have been"... right? Jesse Marsch has made Canada a contender... Rohl revived Rangers... We are always just around the corner from getting it right.

I responded to a Moyes-type coach growing up. But I see that coaching style falling out of favor these days with my teenaged students. Kiddos don't respond like we did back in the day... OMG, I sound like an old man. I imagine that is starting to funnel up to professionals, as well (hence RM was a hit with the squad).

Looking forward to buying him back for peanuts. Telling an introverted "quiet boy" to "take his finger out" is not going to be a successful approach. He needs to be boosted.
-
I will admit, it felt different with a 1-0 lead at the end today. He has great reaction times. And for only being fractionally taller than Baz, he looks like a commanding monster in net by comparison.

AA who? That was exactly the type of goal we have been missing in our repertoire for several seasons now.
-
What has his reception been like from the Wolves fan base?
-
Pros: Might be our poor man's Che Adams. Hopefully a bit more powerful and able to battle in the air. We are begging for striker that wears a hard hat and can bang in some garbage goals. Cons: That DUI video showed me a BS'er with low accountability and a sense of entitlement. He might fit in quite well here.

Leaving for Turkey in 3-2-1...
-
Is he perfect? No. Do we need more of this? Yes. He's creative. Up Azaz!
-
I dont want him back now. I just wish he never left. He would have broken the record the next year if he didn't go to West Ham. I will instead look forward to listening to the JWP/Saints podcast or his color commentary on solent in a few years to come.

Agro much? Was it only DT that questioned AA's attitude? I thought Alfie speculated that he was part of the rot... I can infer that this window may have been about attitude. Between ABK, Aribo, Baz, AA, weeman... the latter were all part of that Martin clique, yes? A lot of speculation on my part; we will never know. I hold no ill will to the player. But if he starts pulling up trees at Wolves, then I'll think less of him. If he doesn't hit it off, then I will think he isn't good and will think less of him. <shrug>

Armel Bella-Kotchap - Official: Signs for Verona
St. Ciervo replied to Ldnsaint's topic in The Saints
I am stunned. Would have been happy to have him binned off for nothing. 5 mil is all gravy. -
He may have ran a lot but to what end? Barring a blue moon, he always pulled up short and did these ridiculous baby steps instead of challenging. Prior to him, we had Ings and Long, so perhaps I am being overly critical because those two ran and created chances weekly. But AA also took bad shots that ruined good runs. He missed easy goals including pks on the reg. Someone else said it straight, "he was the symbol of our demise." I wish him the best, but I am confident that we won't miss his him. Adios! Now wrap Stewart in bubble wrap until the weekend.

I still think Baz got more stick than he deserved... But Christ Almighty, it just feels different to have a shotstopper in goal. My anus is 50% less puckered at all times.

Did someone call for a clown? "I need a hero! Im holding out for a Liebherr till the end of the night"

Joe Aribo - Official: Loaned to Leicester
St. Ciervo replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
<y nipples are hard. This is all great news. 10/10 window. -
I do believe I can predict a score or at least performance by just viewing the amount of pages on the forum. When there is a shit performance, the thread goes 25+ pages of commiseration. Today was highly enjoyable, and we are only on page 16. I think the derby brought these players closer together in the trenches. Let's keep this mean streak up and get to Wembley. Attack!

How do you still have optimism? I am asking for a friend.

Idk. Maybe 4 at the back. Still passing sideways. Why do I watch?
