Seems crazy that our own academy hasn’t produced a quality keeper! Been under the stewardship of Bartram for the past 12 years (thankfully he’s left) they held invited trails a few years back and my son was asked to go along. I got the impression that they were looking for ready made top youth keepers rather than spend time developing any of high maybe the issue in that department?

I don’t get why there seems to be a lot of fans thinking that appointing Dyche would solve are issues ? The squad we have is no more suited to his style of football as it is Jones’s (assuming he has one)

I’ll give Jones some credit he’s managed to do what previous managers have failed and that’s to unite the fans…..

Would’ve been a great appointment, another manager who is available and would suit the players and style of play is Bosz. A good track record average of 1.5 points per game and likes to use younger players in his teams.

Where’s this come from?

It was a pretty simple task to replace RH with a new manager. We have built a squad to play in a certain style ( funnily enough this isn’t hoof ball) so the new manager had to have a similar style to get the best out of who we have. They could then see what is required in this transfer window to improve where required ( tbh this has been obvious since the summer so the club should’ve already had players identified) Even now there are managers out of work who are much better than Jones and who could improve the players, which makes it even more completely baffling why SR went for Jones. Personally I’d put Selles in charge for the next game/s and beg Bosz to take over ready for Everton.

The model isn’t wrong but the guys who are pulling the strings aren’t very good at it. Mistake No 1 was keeping RH past the summer Mistake No 2 was not making sure we signed a decent striker in the summer (and still don’t look anywhere near rectify this) Mistake No 3 was appointing a pub league level manager

Jones is so far out of his depth he needs a rubber ring! If he isn’t sacked by tomorrow evening then we know that the clowns running our club couldn’t give two shits about the fans.
